This summer I will be taking my daughter thrifting, she will be home from college next week. By me, 90% of the people thrifting are all in the men's sections, and they are mostly women. Not sure if that's because there is more feedback on men's BOLO's, or less brands to remember??? I look at the women's sections and they are empty. There is a much larger market for women's clothes, and by me it seems way less picked over. She knows what the current styles, brands, trends are for women's, so I may be supplementing with women's brands until competition returns to normal.
That's a great advantage to have. There are tons of women's clothes and very good opportunities there. One BOLO I always keep an eye out for is Lilly Pulitzer. They have patterns that are easy to identify, very colorful, and floral. Also, women's clothes are often cheaper to ship because they are lighter. A couple CONS are the listing process is hard because you have to learn about all the styles and names of the items, also women tend to return items more than men. Good luck Bro!
