Thank you! As I often say, "I learn more from you guys than you learn from me."
Cal is UC Berkeley, (CAL Bears). They are a big football school and usually in the top 30. I will go to 3-4 games a year. The #1 public university in the world. Besides Dixxon, what flannels do well for you?
Thank you! As I often say, "I learn more from you guys than you learn from me."
Thanksđ
Welcome đ
Love the video format! Your honest and straightforward, I appreciate that. All the best!
I appreciate that!
hey man, I have been flirting with free shipping...thoughts?
If your margins can handle it, it can help sales. Make sure your not cutting to deep. Experiment with it. My store is hybrid, I do free shipping on the items under 4oz and $7.99 for clothes and $16.99 for shoes and boots. Its all about finding the right balance. You can kill your profits although you may be selling more with free shipping. I always recommend charging for shipping, its a common practice in the industry.
Thanks man. Hope we both make lots of sales this weekend. Good luck.
Thanks, you too!
Yeah buddy. BSA for the win!
You know it!
I got a question. What are the best womenâs Leviâs to BOLO? Thanks
Vintage 501's do well, including ribcage, boot cut, and orange tab. I don't source womens as much but have had luck with these.
@@RedBeardGrind thanks
Interesting on the patterns. I see them all the time and never pick them up.
Now you have more to comp LOL.
@@RedBeardGrind IKR
Cool deal on the sheet sets.
Just got a return request on the first order đ€Š. The customer loved them but wished they were thicker.
@@RedBeardGrind the joy of free returns. Hate it when that happens. I donât refund till I get the item back. But now youâre gonna be stuck with open sheets. Hard decision. Good luck.
I find when Iâm at the bins I tend to pick up more lower quality items just since the price is so cheap. Is that what you consider to be the bread and butter items that you skip over most of the time ?
It can be tempting to grab more lower-quality items at the bins because the prices are so good. But when it comes to "bread and butter" items, I try to focus on pieces that are consistently reliable sellers, even if they're not high-end. That being said, I do skip over a lot of lower-quality stuff because it just doesnât move as fast or for as much profit. I usually aim for items with better resale potential, like solid mid-tier brands or anything vintage or in-demand, to make the most of my finds!
Whatnot is becoming more popular, so are online thrifting platforms. I'm wondering if this is slowing sales on other platforms? Texans are off to a great start this year and I expect them to be in the playoffs, they play the Bears Sunday who are also playing well. Must watch game. You may want to start picking up Texans gear if they are playing well.
I have been finding some good deals on Whatnot. Some of the sales should start hitting the videos as soon as I get them listed and sold. I will keep an out for the Texans gear, it's everywhere! Thanks for the tip!

@JBAKER97 Hey J! Goodmorning, I hope your reselling is going well. Have a great week bud!
@@RedBeardGrind My inventory pile is shrinking. So Iâve been listing on a steady pace. Sales are slower than Iâd like but had some decent ones. Did you ever find a Cranium Cariboo game? The Cranium Hulabaloo is decent seller too.
$38 for polo 5xb? Dude! $58 or more all day.
I think it would still be sitting for $58.đą The next one I find I'll list at $58.
How bout dem Texans Homeboy. Yeehawww đ
Hey Kemo! Hope you had a good weekend. The heat is starting to chill.
The Bad Birdie shirt, did you really use eBay standard envelope, or did you just provide free shipping? I refuse to use eBay standard envelope for anything, tracking is horrible and sporadic at best. I don't prefer to rely on asking the buyer if the item was delivered or not.
I did free shipping on accident. I was so pissed lol. But still did very well with the sale. Have a great weekend bud!
appreciate these updates - very helpful!
Glad you like them! đđđ
I just started reselling and since Aug 27 I've made 914$ đ but I've also been sleeping bout 5 to 6 hrs a day, going to the goodwill and a thrift 2 times a day. It takes a lot of work. Been thinking on doing videos like you do just showing the sales very enjoyable to watch.
Those are great numbers! Do the videos, just start. Lets goooo! I'll be your first subscriber.
Do you sell US only or International also?
I sell internationally. I usually get a few sales a week going to another country.
Yesterday I looked up Goodwill bin stores for Northern California, slim choices for me. The closest one is about a 90 minute drive. I have been there once and am going to add to my rotation 1x monthly to lower my overall cost of goods. I'm having to thrift locally on days I don't get discounts because reseller competition is getting worse raising my cost of goods. It looks like Houston has 4, lucky you!!! FYI- Vineyard Vines is pronounce like Martha's Vineyard, and not Vine-Yard. Some brands I like to wear personally because of its company culture and vision, Vineyard Vines is one, Origin (Maine) is another.
Have you tried Goodwill online? There is an opportunity to find killer deals and they will consolidate shipping so the charges are not overwhelming.
Good Morning!! thank you for the helpful info. Love your channel.
You are so welcome!
There are no shirts under $8.99 and no jeans in general for under $10 at any thrift store near me in North San Diego. Ariat jeans are $15 at the cheapest. I still buy those when I find them, they don't show up too much. Thanks for the videos I learn alot from you!
Oh wow! Maybe try the bins or online arbitrage. I shop at Goodwill online and see better prices than what is in your area. Online has its challenges too, shipping costs and competition but I have made plenty of money that way. Check it out, you might be able to find better deals and they will bulk ship also so you don't end up paying shipping charges for every item.
I use the TJ Max app a lot. Are you hitting the stores or online? I look at Kohlâs, Belk, and other store apps looking for clearance deals. I havenât done it for resell but Iâve thought about it.
I do both online and in stores. I shop the clearance sections mostly but sometimes there are profitable items that are not discounted. Kohls has always been to expensive for me.
@@RedBeardGrind I like Belk better than Kohls for sure. Belk has some decent clearance items online. I wear Hurley and Quiksilver and so does my son. So I get the T-shirts for around seven dollars each on clearance.
Morning
Top of the morning to ya!
hwo many items do you have listed? how many do you list a day?
I have 2614 items on eBay and 1971 of those cross-listed on Posh. I list 30 items a day.
I always find Lulu Lemon because the tags are torn away, and its never priced up. I pick up leggings because I can find a pocket size, I have to pass on tops though without size dots.
I pick up the tops all the time (mostly mens polo shirts). I measure the pit to pit and go to the Lululemon site and compare measurements to find the size. The tops sell like hotcakes.
Nahhhh co-worker I thought we were off today. Thatâs why u the boss.
Lol, no days off for now. đ»
wow great pictures - really nice. are you using photo room?
No, I use the picture straight from the phone, no processing. I do have lights though. Here is a link to my setup - czcams.com/video/tmlIeT_Fnkk/video.htmlsi=X_58pr3-3XTHhpPO
How you deal with all the spam in poshmark?
I use PoshVA to do all my offers, relisting, likes, follows etc. The only time I spend on Poshmark is for listing, negotiating price and printing shipping labels. I have not been hit with a lot of spam. PoshVA is $27 a month and it pays for itself in my opinion. My sales went up immediately after getting it.
"Every time I watch your videos, I end up diving into my closet wondering if Iâm sitting on a goldmine of 'forgotten treasures.' You're like the Indiana Jones of eBay-minus the boulders and booby traps, but with way more bubble wrap!"
No boulders, but the bubble wrap is definitely a necessity.
How do you determine what to put on Poshmark? I might be ready to start listing on both platforms
I cross-list everything from eBay to Poshmark. Posh really isn't an everything Platform but I post everything anyways.
Thank you, some new interesting stuff indeed!
You bet!
Nice BOLOâs! Thanks
đđđ
I like the Goodwill bin store , but its not close so I seldom have the time to go. If I go Ill spend a half day to load up and make it worth my time and drive.
I like it more and more. There are 5 Goodwill bins within 40 minutes of my home. Plus tons of other bins.
I haven't been brave enough to hit the bins yet đ happy to hear you've been successful! I'm going to go away for 13 days to NC - I hope to source some, maybe hitting bins and I have to vacay eBay during that time...any tips?
When I go out of town I always extend my handling time. I have never put my store in vacation mode. I think vacation mode is the best way to go. Its a true down time mode and you don't have to worry about anything.
Mo-Cityâs top reseller !
Ha! If only.
"Wow, this video is packed with insider tips that every eBay and Poshmark seller needs to know! đ If you're serious about boosting your sales, you can't afford to miss this. Who else has tried these strategies? Let's discuss how we can all level up our selling game together! đ°đ"
@@anfernee576 Checks in the mail. đ
Thanks for the video. Nice Name, by the way. I'm fairly new to clothes when it comes to reselling and I went to my local Goodwill today and was disappointed not only by the options but the prices. Most the of jeans and pants were priced at $10.99+. Any thoughts?
Those prices are tuff. The easiest thing to do is to move to Texas. đ You can try the bins but that takes a bit of knowledge with brands to be any good at it. Online sourcing can be a great option but that will also be difficult for newcomers. There is no easy path in this business, if you really want to make it work with clothes you will need to start slow and constantly get a little better everyday over a long period of time.
That little cross is a symbol for the Swedish flag :)
Hey, thank you! And now I know.

Whatâs up dude! Took the summer off eBay for the most part. But Iâm back and gonna some money. đ. Iâve got a lot of catching up to do on your videos. Good to see youâre still doing well.
Welcome back! I thought you fell off the edge of the world! Good to see you.
@@RedBeardGrind thanks man. Good to see you too. Still been working my driving job. But took the summer off from eBay. No sourcing or hardly listing. Lord knows I have plenty already. Had some good vacations with the family. But Iâm up and running hard.
I have been passing on 505's for a long not realizing they are worth it.
They aren't worth it. Unless your picking them up for like $2 or $3 even then they are bulky, and take up space. They could sit for months just to make a few dollars. I made tons of mistakes with this type of stuff over the years. Only way it would make sense is if you came across them in bulk. 10 or 20 pairs for a few bucks each. If you had the room then maybe I'd pick em up.....but probably not lol
It's important to note that these items typically have low margins, unless they're vintage. However, even vintage pieces aren't automatically valuable. If I sell them for $15, my profit is only around $5. I usually only pick them up when I don't have better options.
Great advise! Thank you!
Pebble Beach is about a 90 minute drive for me, its ranked 14 in the world. They hold the Pro-Am there, Taylor Made Invitational, and Women's Open. Its a bucket list golf course for most golfers in Monterey, CA right on the coast.
Definitely a golferâs paradise.
Thanks! Sales starting to pick up, especially on Posh. And I finally sold the Vilbrequin swimsuit I was griping about. It was getting to the point that I was going to send it your way!
You can send me Vilebrequin anytime you wantđ I'm glad you moved it. Sales are definitely trending up. Lets GOOOOOOO
Hey man Iâm from Canada and Iâm wondering what the average ship prices are in the US for shirt to pants to sweaters? Trying to match shipping to keep my items relevant
Hey Gary! I tried to research my shipments to Canada but there is no way for me to pull and sort my data. Going from memory - I often ship to Canada and my cost is usually in the high teens to low $20's. Mostly jeans and tops. If I figure out how to pull better info I will send it your way. Thanks for viewing the channel!
