I LOVE that you're not talking. I hate that some videos have a ton of yammering. You get right to the point and are clear. Much appreciate your video series.
Ditto
This series of instructions are some of the best I have seen around. I actually think I might be able to make one of these just from your instructions. Thanks
Thumbs up for the clear written instructions. I can stop the video and take my time while seeing the measurements written. You are an exceptional instructor...keep inspiring.
Well THANK YOU so very much, Judy! Ozegran's binding method is fab & I'm happy you found this tutorial helpful! :)
Awesome tutorial. Whoever said you need to hear in order to learn. Great teachers don't need to speak. Thank you.
LOL! You're very welcome … so pleased you enjoyed this tutorial. THANKS so much for your nice comment! I really appreciate it! :)
Thank you so very much for taking the time to do this and for sharing it. I have tried making hidden bindings three times already and failed each time. But I came across your tutorial and thought that I would try once more. I'm so glad that I did because it was a success - well mostly. :) I ended up with five hinges instead of six because I folded the first over too much but I will know next time.
WOW! So much detail! This is an EXCELLENT tutorial. A lot of work gone into it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this method....will be using on all my albums from now on!! Thanks for the download instructions and your time AND sharing it all with us!! :-)
Just watched your video and was so thankful for it! Have watched so many trying to find one I could really follow along with......this is the best by far! I, too, am a visual learner and this was perfect! It definitely goes at the top of my video list! Thanks again!!!
Thank you for your demonstration. Easy to follow and understand.
You're very welcome, Eve! That's very kind of you to say. Glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching! :)
Hi, Carol! Thank you very much for your nice comment! I appreciate it. Yes, I agree … the binding method is totally customizable to suit any album, which is great! So happy you stopped by & took the time to write. Have a wonderful day! :)
Very clear. You show the principles of the hinge so well that most people should be able to adapt the technique easily to different sizes and numbers of pages.
well this is fantastic I was looking for another way and here you are with the best one I have seen yet thank you for such a clear and precise tutorial !
I'm a details person and this tutorial fits the bill
thank you again! and a big thank you to ozegran too

Thank you so much for explaining so so well one of the best tutorials ever tooooooo goood !,
Very clever way to explain this to those who are hearing challenged! I just happen to be a visual person and thank you for making this simple example to show my daughter.
wonderfully taught and made this easy to understand! thank you
AWESOME TUTORIAL! Made sense to me. I am just starting these mini's or journals. i am a visual person so this made perfect sense..thank you!
You're very welcome, Victoria! Thanks so much for your nice comment … and have fun creating your albums! :)
Wow, I love your tutorial!! 😘😘. Thank you.
I was really nervous about trying this, and I have to say this was explained so well I accomplished it and was quite proud of the results. Thanks again.
Well done, Corrine!! It's absolutely awesome to hear that you've successfully bound the pages in your mini! Don't you just love how nice they look & how the entire album looks so polished & professional? Completing the binding & attaching the pages is exciting & I'm ALWAYS amazed … and proud, too … at the result. I totally share your sense of accomplishment … I feel the same way! THANK YOU so much for writing! I'm happy you stopped by! Take care & have a fabulous day! :)
Thank you so much, this was very helpful to me as a newbie!!
You demonstrated that beautifully! Thank you!...Nancy :o)
This is wonderful! I am very visual, and sometimes talking distracts me! I like the fact that I can just turn off the sound if I don't want to hear the music. (I live with MS and sounds bother me greatly). Fantastic video!!!
Hi there! Thank you so much … that's very nice of you to say! I'm happy you enjoyed the tutorial & took the time to comment. I really appreciate it. Take care & have a fabulous day! :)
the best tutorial ever!
Haha ... thanks! Appreciate that! :)
I think credit should go to Kathy Orta -paper phenomenon - as she actually created this hinge and calls it her hdden hinge binding system, ozziegran has just adapted it slightly. You do a great job demonstrating it tho'.
I learned this method when I started teaching kinder in the early 90s . Just because Kathy was the first to think to apply for a pattern doesn't mean she was the creator.
Thanks so much 💕
ok i u did this awesome now ii may need to rewind a couple of time to get this but a much good demo.....tfs
wonderful!! Thank you!😊
Thank you so much.
Brilliant! Ty
You're welcome! So pleased you enjoyed this video. :)
okay..I seen the video can you give me measurements for 10 by 12 with starting point at 1 1/8 and ending at 11 7/8
this makes more sense as it is stronger than the original x
Could u do a hinge for 8pages
I saw a lot of tutorials bt I could not understand as I was a beginner. I could not figure out hw to customise n calculate n wat basis it's all about. Bt ur tutorial.i must say. It's like a spoon feeding. U taught it in a simple yet detailed method. Nw I got to knw he to calculate out own hinge thank you for this. Bt I did not understand the last part. 1 1/4in and 2inch gusset wer did u stick those.i didn't get it. Suddenly the hinge looked equal n perfect wer did the falos gone n why not equal measurements on both sides. I mean 1 1/4 on one side n 2in on other side. Bt end hw all looked equal🤔
Hello … thank you for your very kind words! They’re much appreciated! The reason the left & right sides aren’t equal is because I’m only working with an 11” piece of cardstock. In order to fit the spine, the binding needs to be scored this way. :)
Your work is terrific and the tutorials are easy to follow. One question that is driving me nuts... There are six hinges and seven gussets; each gusset is ¼ inch wide; how are you getting a two-inch wide finished piece?? Seven x .25 is 1¾ not 2. No matter what I do, I can't get a two-inch wide finished piece... Help?
LOL! No need to fret! It's true that the actual total gusset measurement is 1-3/4". However, you also need to take into account that the folded hinges themselves add to the width. Hence, the total width of the Stacked Hinge Binding for this mini is 2"! Thanks for writing & for your nice comment! Have a great day! :)
forgive me for asking this but what could I charge for making one of these for a custom order? Is there a standard mini price or do you charge by how many hours it took or ???? Alls I can see right now is dollar signs !!!!! ha
so what if i want to do a mini album with 10 or 12 pages will this system work? I've only seen tutorials with 6 pages but never more than that?
Check out Kathy Orta King’s tutorial on making a 12-hinge binding: czcams.com/video/Ajwfa5u4ALQ/video.html.
i want to make a large album with 25 pages, but i think that the whole width of the album will become very much if i used this binding. please suggest what should i do.
Hello, Ankita! I’m not sure what type of binding to recommend for what you have in mind. I’ve never attempted an album with such a large number of pages. Hope whatever method you choose works well for you, though. Thanks for writing! :)
This bit confuses me every time, your instructions are clear it’s just me, but I will rewind and rewind until I get it lol thank you xx😀
What kind of paper you use?i wanna make this...i see is cardstock but what kind?
Can’t remember specifically what was used in this video … most likely either Recollections or Stampin’ Up! cardstock.
papercrafter45. Thank you
thanks for sharing...
Hello, Angie! You're very welcome! I appreciate you watching & commenting! :)
This is hidden hinge system. Not stack the deck.
I really prefer no music and a verbal explanation
Thumbs down for making us listen to music and read instead of hearing you explain what we should be doing.
