Impresionante.
for anyone who has yet to experience a blitz game, do it now, the amount of excitement and adrenaline it creates is amazing, can't believe chess can be this energizing!
10 steps ahead on every piece, anticipating each potential move, literally millions of possibilities every few seconds. An expert chess players intuition is truly insane.
ajneufeld762 that’s not true. Chess players only look at a few moves each time lmao. What they are good at though is calculating expected moves and good moves though
Magnus played that game so smoothly! He even situated naka's pieces correctly in the squares because he's so confident of the win. b5 had to be bad, those c5 knights were powerful!
At 10:38 Nakamura took the pawn on a5 with the knight because the pawn on b6 which was protecting it was pinned - taking the knight would alow for Nakamura's rook to take Carlsen's rook. But then Carlsen replied with a knight move which both protects his own rook and attacks Nakmura's rook, while Nakamura's knight was still threatned by the b6 pawn. So if Nakamura tried to save his knight, he would have lost the rook and if he tried to save the rook he would have lost the knight.
There's a ton of stuff going on besides the chess game. The point where they mirror each other's scratching, the digging for gold by the cameraman, the old man fighting back....
@ 4:22 - Watch the two guys standing in between, the camera man and the person watching. Watch the camera man tries to move the older guy out of the way, and watch the old guy almost slap his arm away from him.. LOL. It got me. You can see the older guy thinking "Get your damn arm off of me you fool!"... xD
***** ya those ebay ones are similar but not the same,...these are used at like every top gm tourney nowadays , i know they use a dgt electronic board but not sure of the exact pieces
ya those def arent the same ones, dgt timeless pieces look similar to www.newinchess.com/Shop/Images/10139-chessset-timeless-for-dgt-e-board-new.jpg but the bishop is slightly more chubby in the one im talking about if you see what im saying like in this en.chessbase.com/portals/4/files/news/2007/wijk/anand05.jpg
From 2:37 to 3:05, Nakamura cannot find anything to do. So he tries a little counterplay on the Queenside with a4, followed by b4 at 3:23. But that weakened the c4 square and Carlsen threatened to jump all over it with his Knight, use it as an outpost, and entry into the White side, a thorn in White's side. Nakamura's only response is to protect the square with his Queen. And from then on, Nakamura is on the defensive. After a6, did Carlsen anticipate b4? Is that why he made the waiting move of Qf7 at 3:17? After b4, Carlsen exchanges Bishops and then, without any hesitation, plays Nd6 threatening Nc4. Attack the weak squares unprotected by pawns!
I love how magnus press the clock. So gently
Go see Magnus vs agdestein

+Not Jesus Well folks.. we got a game between Carlsen and a shoulder!

At 2.59, The cameraman's attacking move of LH.F3 to LN was as smooth and natural as any move from the two players. Genius.
Impresionante.

These guys can see like 10 steps ahead each.
I think they can see 10 games ahead against me...
10 souls ahead.

1:35 twin moment kinda????
I'm glad you cough this on video since there weren't any other cameras
That was awesome!

Old is Gold!!
Nakamura and shaking head go hand in hand!
Carlsen was calm and composed throughout the match , but nakamura began to lose his nerve towards the end !!
They are equal! Because they feel the same. The proof? Take a look to (1:34).
lol
lol, man I love the internet!
darie99 you're right
darie99 One guys' nose is another guys forehead then

4:23 - cameraman and official chess fight
Would really like to watch these guys play in person even if they aren't playing each other
If you guys post a little chess board on the top to let us see what's going on it in future videos, it will be great
the man at 4:25 is very concentrated :D
have anyone noticed the old man in the middle getting irritated by the cameraman in 4:22
Yup lol
lol...did you notice that camera guy picking his nose at 2:50?
***** yuk!!!
Hahaha yeah it was super funny lol
Brilliant Carlsen...!!!
look at Nakamura's attitude at the end: he resigned by offering his hand to his opponent. The young guy did it ! And the master was desperate...
excellent do you have more games?
Quien ganó?
uN COMBATE ENTRE DOS TITANES.

Whoever beats these two geniuses at this game can accomplish anything!
Great game by great players :)
This for me was a great win of MC against HN, a victory that impacts an advantageous quality.
A win that is like a victory, but still only one win, and intense.
gutsy move wow, would't have expected that from magnus. wearing white shirt with white pants...ballsy

I love carlsen- like how he don't give a sh*t against his opponent
I think with every move, they play 5 different games in their mind
@9:59 What does Carlsen doing at the back? Why he's not playing?

At a certain point Naka was just making moves whereas Magnus was playing with a plan.
