“They are angry because I present to them hope when they don’t believe there is any.”
That’s so well said
I used to be a black democratic socialist. Since listening to Dave I still identify as a black man. Thanks for all your info and motovation Dave
Lol
What? Smh let's just stick to $
Yes! Congrats Sir!
Im a black democratic socialist man, after listening to Dave I now identify as a white republican woman
We have all been lost and brainwashed at some point. Dave speaks truth and opens the eyes of the financially blind.
Inheritance is almost like lottery. If your not good with money, it won't take much time to loose it all
While I mostly agree, it also makes sense that money-smart parents would raise money-smart kids. Especially if they own a business, the kid could keep it going with some acquired know-how and in that sense have a huge "head start."
Easy come ! Easy go !
Or worse, you could lose it all your money.
yes , but if you are prepared for it and you find a good financial adviser you should be fine.
If they loose it, then they will lose it for sure
My 8 year old overheard this playing. He says: “Buy a Ferrari? How will you be rich if you spend all that money?”
There is hope!!
Sounds like your 8 year old is already smarter than the average liberal.
So simple an 8yo gets it.Some adults on the other hand...
@@b-rad-3849 more like the average American.
And everybody clapped
Smart kid!
You seriously make my entire day when you go on these rants 😂😂😂 thank you God for placing a sense of humor inside of this man. Makes me laugh all the time!
Why do you find these funny?
Because of the way he answers them.
KimberlysBeautyChannel they’re really not that funny. Tbh Dave is pretty dorky so I’m sorry if you find that kind of humor funny haha
@@EmpireTextbooks I agree. Neither do I agree with his viewpoint on this. 25 plus yrs ago, yes absolutely. Except for those who are born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
I’m definitely dorky and love dad jokes lol
Thank you Dave!!! This mindset angers me. I worked at Wal-Mart for a few years, and started using the phrase "Walmart mentality". More than half the people I came across, didnt take any responsibility for the situation they were in, and blamed it on everything around them. This was a huge reason why I left. I couldn't keep surrounding myself with this type of thinking, and hoping it didn't rub off on me.
000tech-4-less000 yep i worked in the walmart store years ago, their mentality is sad, i left that place
So sad
I used to stock merchandise at Walmart. It's the kind of place you end up when you give up on your dreams.
I used to work at a Wal-Mart too and I totally agree. Worst part is that mindset permeates the entire company much further up the ladder than I thought - it wasn't just the minimum wage folks thinking that way; it was several layers of management too. In fact the upper management seemed to encourage it. Keeps the masses in line 🙄
Very sad, esp. since from what I know of Sam Walton, that's not at all what his company started as/ what he envisioned.
I really made someone mad one time when they told me that rich people are evil and I responded with "Rich people aren't evil! They are individuals who made more people happy than you did!"
When my eyes were opened and I realized Im in control, my life got a whole lot better.
Thank God that Dave Ramsey has the personal strength to stand by his very strong and valid opinions.
OMG.... Why does Dave have to explain this to people? I grew up knowing I was responsible for what I did.
What happened to people today???
People just want excuses so they never have to improve themselves or ever feel bad/responsible.
@leaderoftheworldputin sadly you're right.
SpaceGirl brainwashed and programmed
Because there are people who don't know and haven't been taught that, but there are also people in places where that kind of thinking is a luxury they aren't given.
Blame feels better than guilt for most people
Especially in the modern age of the internet, people and businesses have become much more honest good people. The bad ones get hung out to dry from internet reviews and the good ones get the news shared to the entire world how great they are.
Very well said Dave. Many people out there are still “blinded” in the area of finances. Keep up the preaching so that the blind may finally see and understand one day.
"Only if your parents are cousins."

I love Dave Ramsey's rants. I always feel empowered after I listen to one.
Dave is seriously the best! Truth and tough love is so needed today like this. So thankful for his books and channel.
Did he just say, “nut burger”? 😂
Yes he did. lol
🤣🤣🤣
THAT'S NOT what he WANTED to SAY 😂 😂
I love the Dave Ramsey show and Financial Peace program!!! My husband and I have been going to classes and implementing everything!!!!!!! I love the structure! It makes sense!!!!

Politics make people so shallow and close minded. If only common sense was common.
Jacob Votava he didn’t say anything about right wing crazies. He was talking about left wing crazies that are factually incorrect
Common sense is extinct
@Jacob Votava He did talk about right wing crazies too, even though it was an afterthought
its on purpose...STOP watch CNN
Keep on preaching Dave!!! Bravo
I didn’t think I could love you anymore than I did. You’re amazing. Thank you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Don’t worry about people like that .You are speaking to people like me who want to here from you
Love me a Dave Ramsey Rant, Always Makes My Day !
Thank you Dave for all of your advice!! 💗
I can’t say much cause Dave just said it all...
Most rich people aren’t driving Ferraris, folks. They’re driving used Honda Civics and saving/investing.
No. That's what they do to get rich. Once rich, they drive whatever they want
Dang it Dave, did you just call me Alt-Right for living off the grid and having a supply of ammo? LOL That's how I'm not in debt
In 2011 I inherited enough to retire comfortably. I've lived on what my investments earn and spend less than what's coming in. My sister inherited the same amount as me and is now in serious financial trouble.

Love me some Dave Ramsey rant in the morning! 😂 👏🏻
I love Dave Ramsey’s rants and country sarcasm and silliness! 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dave is like that old cranky uncle that in fact holds valuable wisdom but in your early 20s you fail to see that. But just like clockwork, come to find out years later he was spot on the entire time.
Thank you so much for all the advice
I'm a die hard liberal but 100% agree with everything Dave illustrated in this video. I'm a liberal because I believe we should hold the government responsible for providing a certain benchmark for a quality of life, however the governments involvement (or lack of) should never influence the individuals ability to persevere in their own situation. I think college should be free and we as a society would prosper more if that was the case, however I don't use that as an excuse to not pay back my student loans and keep myself in the gutter.
Dave: Yewww Mo-ron! Love it 😂😂😂
dave ,the excuse maker's keep.making excuses...
If 75% of millionaires are self made today. that means 75% of the worlds wealth will be inherited tomorrow
Godbless u sir..watching u here in brunei..im from philippines i learn a lot ftom you...
I am not left wing or right wing. I use to play defence.... Hockey is awesome

well said Dave, thanks!!
Trying to live off the grid & collect ammunition 😂😂

Man, I love this guy.
😂😁 Tell them Dave! 👏
Get’em uncle Dave!!!
Millionaire is an aspirational goal, and I'm glad to have become one, but it really isn't a lot of money. It's better than not having it, though.
I feel the same way most of my investments are in stock etf. Any day I know my portfolio can drop by 50% or more so I maintain do debt
But it is nice not having to worry about money.
@4:35 oh it gets me every time lol uncle dave too funny
Love you Dave!
I freaking love this guy.
As a Left Winger, I believe in all this. Social support should be catered for those who can not support themselves, like mental or physical impairment etc.
Unless physically unable to work, you don't work you don't eat. Take care of you and your own. You are not my responsibility.
Great insight. I realize I have struggled with the opposite of this view.
Dave says 'that's not what I meant' when talking about his tweet. But when responding to arguments that rich people get ahead by being dishonest or self serving he gives a really poor example. What about companies buying rights to life saving drugs and bumping the price by %1000's points? What about work places paying their staff as little as possible while giving themselves huge bonuses, not depending on performance? There are plenty of people who become wealthy and do it in an honest way. However there are also loads of wealthy people who got there by doing whatever it took to make money. It's easy to find a real world example if you look.
I can tell you the average person who makes a lot of money either has a corporate position that pays them a lot or starts a business where they bet the farm on an initial capital investment and it paid off. Both of things are pretty serendipitous. Incidentally, Dave never actually tells you what rich people do. Well, for starters based on my assertion they either fit into a corporate mold or they take pretty big risk, among a myriad of other qualities. Hard work is just one component. Smart financial decisions are just a single component. If Dave really knew what he was talking about, he wouldn't be a radio host because he would actually have a business, instead of just talking about business.

Why should I trust what you are saying at all? Who are you? Why do I even care to reply to this? Where is your CZcams show?
@@DaDaDo661 I work with successful business owners as an adviser. I also prepare a lot of taxes. As to why you replied, I don't know. As to why I don't have a CZcams channel, I have better things to do.
@@c_rob1 I appreciate your polite reply. Don't get me wrong. I like Dave Ramsey. He tells middle class people not to buy $45,000 cars, and he also is a proponent to debt free living. Both amazing points of view that save thousands of people financial misery. However, I only differ with him when starts to talk about wealth because I think that takes a greater degree of acumen than he gives it credit for.
@@c_rob1 I completely agree. No debt and no huge purchases, including college and housing, is the best advice anyone can give financially.
People are on social media become stupid - the basics work...as someone who lives simplicity - spend less than I earn and keep the debt to a minimum - anyone can live a good life...slow and steady wins the race...no illegal or unethical activity required.
I agree with you 90 percent of the time. On this topic I notice how u didn't mention all the financial institutions that prosper on ripping people off. Over and over again they have broken laws and faced no real penalties.
Janky One Dave forgot the financial crisis of 2008 conveniently and how banksters got bailed out by the tax payer.
J
Yep...stop carrying credit card debt. Only borrow money (currently Low) on a home...period!
How does that impact you personally??? BTW Politicians are the biggest crooks and NOTHING will ever happen to them. They get you to look the other way by paying CNN to run "stories" about these financial institutions you are talking about and then do whatever they wish. STOP watching the "news"
@@peartfaldo weird of you to assume I watch the news. It affects all of us personally. The inflation we are experiencing right now is just one example. The politicians are owned by their corporate sponsors. Stop participating in the left/right paradigm and focus on the real masters. Stop pointing left or right and look at who really benefitted from all the money printed the past two years.
Hahahahhaa nutburgers 😂 left or right 😂😂
Generational wealth does make it easier. I come from a family that is broken from divorce and poor spending habits. I’ve had to work twice as hard as my peers.
Where can I find your daily podcasts? On your site?
Dave, there are nuts on both sides, but I think there are a lot of democrat voters that have wealth and listen to your show. We believe we have control over our lives. We're not all crazy.
Calm down, he's talking about nutburger socialists. He also threw nutburger alt right under the bus.
This is true. My in-laws are rep and they treat their 40 yr adult daughter as a 10 yr old girl. Meaning, they criticize people that truly needs help from the gov but they pay her bills, her trips, etc... 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Having listened to (and LOVED) the Akira the Don/Jordan B Peterson musical projects, I'm hereby insisting that there needs to be an Akira/Dave Ramsey follow up.
Great advice
I love the voice he makes for other people lol
Love the words around self control 😜
Excellent rant.
I think people just like blaming wealthy people for their problems instead of looking at themselves and realizing they make bad life decisions.
I came from a business owning family who worked hard and lost it all. It’s given me perspective on both sides of the spectrum.
Blaming people for your misfortunes will never result in improving your self worth.
I LOVE his Eric Cartman voice 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
"Only if your parents are cousins"...omg it killed me, but very true
Great video.
Paid off my student loan of £2990 due to 3 jobs and gezelle intensity in only 3 months. Still over paying my mortgage and investing during that 3 months. Over here in England. Thanks Dave for the guidance /videos and book.
Well in America we multiply our student loans so we play 30k instead of 3k. Tho I agree with you many people get into 30k debt because they enjoy college with drugs and parties. Until when they graduate and have to pay back the student loans. Your a very hard worker I wish I was dedicated enough to work 3 jobs. Good on you, cheers mate.
thank you dave, for acknowledging that there are crazies on the right and the left
Mostly left
Live beneath your means people.
Mike, it's a marvelous principle that allows us to deal with unexpected and expected events, avoid crisis, and gives us options in planning and living our lives.
4:40 cracks me up so hard
Hey! My parents WERE cousins! Lol! 5:21
Tell'em dave!!
Dave your awesome love it
Papa Dave, you are too funny! 😍
🙏🙏🙏
Amen Dave!
For the most part you are right. But there are a lot of businesses who got rich my conning people. It’s not stupid. It’s fact!!
So glad he referenced that both sides have crazies. That was a relief to hear.
You had me in the first 90 seconds...
It took me 30 years to fully realize that most people don't want freedom or social mobility. People who actually want that are an elite few, and you can't tell who they are by looking at them. Most people crave for someone to tell them they are nothing, and they will always be nothing. Then the pressure and responsibility are gone. Most people are happy with no money and no responsibility.
Love Dave, a little Dr. Phil, Warren Buffett, and Richard Simmons all rolled into one.
They may not inherit their wealth but they inherit intelligence and good life practices.
Dave isn’t wrong. But the system is messed up and he needs to acknowledge that. Remember, Amazon paid zero taxes and got a tax refund. How’s that fair?
How do you know that? CNN tell you???? How does that impact you??? Stop blaming others and stop looking for a financial boogie man.
Those are called excuse makers. They always have an excuse for their actions or lack thereof
Dave keeps it real, more people should watch his rants for their political views instead of the news.
Cheap dig at preppers. Those are the people who refuse to relinquish control to others.
"Unless your parents are cousins" 😂
Great video Dave. I believe self awareness is the key to sucesss. Money is just a tool that you use or lose. And the only commodity that is equal in life is time. What sets people's life apart is their thoughts. That's why information is key. Answers and knowledge are everywhere there if you ask the right questions and have the desire you'll seek and find them. The challenge is out of 168 hours in a week how many people that are not in education sit down and study. As the key to wealth building is contribution, adding value to the market place/other people's life. That's why the best investment you can ever make is in yourself. Because as you can become more you can have more. Jay Riley.
This is also true in the medical field no matter what anyone tells you. The real money is in referrals.
I mean no one can say that capitalism is a perfect system or any other economic system. It is difficult to navigate through it if you’re not educated on how to live with it, and high schools don’t teach kids about real life stuff. So it all comes down to our foundation w/ education. Just sad :/
It's the best option tho and now with the internet it's easier to find your way
Preach! Learning about money is what helped me realize that capitalism can work... for the people who learn about money!
Regulated capitalism is the best, where there are workers' rights, and there is some limit to what the wealthy can do. Pure capitalism was the early 1900's where immigrants and the poor where working 16 hours in mines, and children where working in factories, beecause there were no laws against this and no middle class existed. Communism in theory would be the best for humanity as a whole but it'll never work because there will always be greedy people and lazy people, leading to coruption and a failed system. Socialism can work in rare cases where there are small populations with the same ethnicity, religious beliefs, and social economic status. Finland is the closets thing to socialism that works.
Wealthy crooks more likely to thrive in non-recurring high cost luxury sales like buying a Cadillac, cost paid to an architect designing your home, food quality at a lavish wedding, etc
This misguided way of thinking comes from watching too many movies and TV shows, books...They make themselves the underdog hero of their own fantasy world by exposing the "evil and corrupt"...
Excellent point!
Tell that to the guys who ran Lehman Brothers... LOL.. still got nothing but respect for ya Dave.. and btw your plan is working greatly in my life..
Lehman's out of business, and how many businesses are out there? If your company ripping people off? Some people do bad things. Don't paint them all with the same brush.
@@reymondjames1726 He said "ran", not "run". And who's saying every single business is ripping people off? All I hear is people saying the ones that do rip people off should be held responsible, not that the innocent ones should be punished. If someone in your neighbourhood murdered a man do you think he should get away with it because the rest of you are innocent? Probably not, the guilty shouldn't get away with their crimes
“Nut burgers” 😂
Dave went ham on these dudes 😂😂 he a fool

I think there are crooks on the Right and The left, i was annoyed at first when dave did the characture of the left but i think he balanced it out with acknowledging that their are some crooks on both sides. But overall if you do bad business you will get punished in the long run
