Love your book. I play in mine between projects, and when I don't want to think so much about something else I'm working on. It is very relaxing. It's like a break from the 'have to make it just so' art. TFS
I too love Mary Stewart’s books. I first started reading her in the late 70’s and I passed them on to my children. Love your glue book. It reminds me that I don’t need to have rhyme or reason just a desire to record what strikes my fancy! Such fun.
I love it ! Should make myself one it would relax me and maybe forget about my pain. It’s colourful, playful and most of all therapeutic... and inexpensive... tfs Diane.
Love your glue book Diane. I am going to show my sis how to make a junk journal on the weekend. Mine is going to be a Glue Book Thanks for the inspiration 😊❤
Hi Diane, I like how you let things melt together. Like the elefant on the left and the butterfly on the right which give the feeling the elefant can fly away on those brittle wings.
This “one’s awesome, too”! It even sounds delicious! I made a note about Mary Stewart’s books. I’m not really into period pieces but I do love King Arthur. So, thank you for the lead! I keep lists of books to check out.
Thank you for this flip through Diane! You've really inspired me to do gluebooks. I'm almost done with my first one and love the creative process. I feel like junk journals and glue books are both creative outlets. But junk journals are more craft like and glue books are a little more artistic. Can't decide which I like more!
Just collect images that catch your eye... from books, magazines, packaging, tissue and wrapping paper, etc. Then just start gluing them into your book. You can use a magazine as your glue book, you don't need a book like the ones I am making. Once you start, it will become easier. The point is to relax and enjoy, not stress about if you are doing it right. There is no right or wrong. Have fun!
Yes, I do, Liz. CZcams has made some changes and I am unable to access the Creator Studio where I should be able to get a link to the video. I hope it's fixed soon! But if you go to my channel, click on my playlist, and then go to "My Tutorials", I have put the video on that list. (It's the video on the list so far!) I hope you can find it.

That's right; just a collection of images that you like and that inspire you.

I love your glue book! I think I only have one page done in mine...I never think to get it out. I’m going to try and do better!
This fasinates me but I'm not sure how to start.

Do you have a tutorial showing how you attach/sew the signatures to the spine?
