Anyone who's watched Top Gear would immediatly believe Richard Hammond will be the kind of guy to pull such a prank.
Richard has had a very interesting life - He just can't remember it.
If you ever watched the original Top Gear (and you should), you would know that Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May (but mostly Clarkson) were pranksters on a hitherto unknown level. They were ruthless to each other and it was hilarious.
I have a rule for this game that has served me well over the years. Always consider whether they had a connection before the incident. For example, I don't think it's credible that someone would stay in contact with someone they found locked in a toilet years ago, but David says Ben is a long-time friend, and Richard says they worked together and could presumably still be friends decades later. I would immediately dismiss Sean from the options.

Richard has led quite an exciting life, really Nick. He once crashed a car when travelling at 300 mph, so that must've been pretty exciting.

Mate, in the video Richard actually said he knew Ben because they worked together on local radio. Also Richard's life is probably interesting enough. This is a man who almost died when a jet car he was driving crashed at over 300mph.

I am a massive Spurs Fan (Tottenham Hotspur), So loved this one.
January 1968 Millwall v Spurs 41,000 at The OLD Den in the 3rd Round of The F A Cup, and then after the draw 73,000 turned up at WHK doer the replay including what seemed like half of South East London. 58,000 admitted.15,000 locked out and Spirs scored a late winner and went on to win THe Cup.
No segregation and no trouble and one of the best atmospheres ever. Got a 171 Bus home From Bruce Grove...

Carrot In A Box is a must - they've done it 3 times - the first two with Shaun, and then I'd say the third with Lee Mac was kind of in his memory really, but the first two are hilarious

That was really good. Perhaps Nick might do better if he gets Jody to declare her choice before he does. Please consider watching some Wilty with Henning When. The video "Did the Interpol list Henning Wehn as a missing person? - Would I Lie to You?" is one of two wilty he is in that have over 1.4m views. I think you will love his appearances.
Just when you thought you had a new angle to try with WILTY, the game beats you again! As long as you know that it's great viewing to see you try so hard to figure out, logic out, reverse logic guess, etc next time I recommend simple - ennie meenie minie mo, that's got a whopping 33.333r chance of working! =)

He has also been involved in near two life threatening crashes for a TV show. He along with colleague have upset every country on earth.

All she has to do is go with the one he doesn't buy, she wins every time because he sucks at catching liars.
He acknowledged it later but Nick clearly overestimated the power of WILTY to pull anyone in the country from their everyday lives to come and be on the show with his view of Hammond's story. The premise in production is less "we have unlimited access to every person you've ever met, pick the most interesting one", and more "who's free on a Tuesday afternoon who you could spin a yarn about".

David was unusually believable in this one . Pre Top Gear , local radio is a good way to start a presenting career and it suited Richards personality . Sean iwas good at making the ridiculous sound normal . A team of excellent liars so well done Jody . Incidentally this year's Christmas special had David and Victoria and was very funny , as an added bonus they are finally back to sitting together .
Ironically Richard has led a fascinating life and was part of the 3 Men who presented The BBC's most exported and lucrative show=TOP GEAR where they toured the World over many Series testing out vehicles and racing each other in every possible type of condition.
He, also,came within a whisker of dying and recovered.
