- I'm back from another trip to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and while shopping at Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities I picked up the Ahsoka Tano Legacy lightsaber replicas. These replica lightsabers are really well made and are very high quality, as they should be for $199.99 I had one issue with the build quality but it seems to be a running theme with the legacy collection lightsabers.

I never noticed this until just now, Ahsoka’s lightsabers kind of resemble a katana swords hilt or handle. I really like them.
You need to see Rhom Kota’s hilt then.

Well yes and no. Katanas are not curved nor are they short like her off hand one. In designs like pattern yes.
yes, katana handles are not curved, but there is a type of sword similar to a katana but has a shorter handle

Considering they sell white kyber crystals, if they had Ahsokas light sabers and they DIDNT turn white, I think that would be a massive mistep

Ahsoka's lightsabers are so awesome! Visiting Galaxy's Edge in a few months, definitely getting them soon. ❤ So excited! 😄
They're not even accurate though, they're so fat. Search KR Sabers, they have them much closer to the actual thing.
Ashoka built those sabers from scrap metal she found while on the run from the Empire and took the crystals from a Sith Inquisitor's double bladed saber. At least according to the Ashoka book I just finished reading. The crystals was red but when put them in her sabers, they became cleansed and turned white. Only her sabers that she used during the Clone Wars were green. So as soon as you opened the box, I knew what color they would be.
Well he didn't know if they were Ashoka's lightsabers from the Clone Wars or Rebels. I personally thought they were the ones from The Clone Wars at first.

the lightsaber where curved so basicly longer than what you measured if compared to straight hilted ones...more than they already are

What I like about her sabers is the hilts remind me of katanas like the shape of them and the pattern on them just remind me of the katana hilts.

I saw them presented to Ashley @ SWCC in April and knew they were the lightsabers I wanted. Yes, value for money but samurai carry two blades at two different lengths.

Do you need to remove that allen screw to remove batteries? The instructions on the back of the box only show the thumb screw being removed. That black spot almost looks like a mount you could screw a covertec button on, seems weird to have one be an Allen key and one be a thumb screw unless you could add a button.

They are cool as hell. My only gripe with any of the new hilts is that they're all so chunky... but I assume that's a trade off for the electronics. Otherwise, really neat.
tkdwar76 they can make them less chunky. Custom blade makers do it all the time. They look super cheap.

The reason the second one is smaller is because if you swung another full length saber it would lose momumentum in the off-hand during the swing.

*lose Technically the second, shorter one, is based off the Wakizashi. Her lightsabers are designed like daisho swords of samurai and it wasn't designed for dual wielding. It was for close quarter combat and seppuku.
kalel33 fair point, the diamond shapes on the hilts are a dead give away due to it being a nod to Tsuka Ito.
Hey I have been looking everywhere to try and see if the light saber blade is dueling worthy for like light combat or if it is just for looks.... I was just wondering if you have tested it
I think your glitchy one might be defective. I saw another review and she didn’t have problems. I'm sure they’d help you get a replacement

really nice sabers, yeah but cases look cheap, they should have a metallic tint to improve authenticity
I think a better deal would be the Kylo Ren saber. You pay $150 for the lightsaber, and the two crossguard side sabers.
But have to pay for another blade still
I think I’m going to do the Savie’s workshop One instead of the legacies just because there is an actual experience there. And I probably am going to for sure have a budget. I’m hoping that I will be able to build one droid, and one light saber.

Just subscribed, loving the content! Asking for some advice, going to Galaxy edge in March with 3 y/o daughter and I have reservations for Savi and the droids. Love the Kyber crystal color change idea. After watching your content I am stuck on giving up my previous plans, and going for Ashoka legacy lightsabers, that will allow color change and I can duel and play with them with daughter. I have a budget of under $400, would consider the clone war version. I am stuck, any recommendations!! Thank continue doing a great job!

I'm pretty sure the color of the button on the box is the color the blade will be. I haven't seen reviews for all of the legacy sabers yet.

I like that they styled Ahsoka's sabers rectangular, like her hilts in Rebels. But man... those things are massive.
They had to oversize them because the battery thing is round. I don't think it look right at all. Both of them should be 20% smaller.

Do the screw in studs fit into the belt clips!? I'm going back in a few days and will pick these up but also with the belt clips if possible.

I have the ahsoka legacys and just did a review video. My button is not that sensitive. Yes its clickable. But shouldnt shut off like that. If you didnt remove the stickers etc i would see if disney would swap them out. I know its a long shot but knowings its not defective through the design just maybe this one. They might do something

The worker told me that you have to buy both hilts separate in order to have both which came out to be 400 or so. Did you buy them separately or together for 200
