I love pie plates!🥰 If I find vintage or fun pie plates throughout the year, I’ll get them for the holidays. I will make homemade Apple pies with crumb topping and give them as gifts. It’s nice because they get a homemade pie and they also get a real pie plate instead of the flimsy aluminum ones. 😁❤
Me too! But more often I bought secondhand Corning ware casserole dishes and gave as gifts or when there was a birth, death etc if the family might need a hot meal. Of course this was decades before casserole dishes went “vintage” and quadrupled in price.
That place is huge and so organized!! Unfortunately we don’t have any goodwill bargain bins here as I have heard other CZcamsrs talking about. In the past few months I have had really bad experiences at my local Goodwill, the cashier literally stands behind the register and yells at the customers to put stuff down because they’re closing in 15 minutes and they want to get home, it’s so disrespectful to the customers. I’ve been shopping at Goodwill since I started my weight loss journey in 2016, it was a great way for me to find me lovely clothing while I was dropping weight.
I love the sleeping bag and the quilts. Yes Goodwill is way too expensive. I have also seen things that are marked higher than the original price that was left on the item.
My butcher block came today! it looks very nice, Happy with it, thanks for the sand and oiling❤If you would have bought both the squirrel and rabbit tall square jar, I would have been the first to buy both, so not sure why you didnt grab the squirrel either. Too bad there was not a large set with all different kinds of woodland creatures on them that would have been nice. I am also curious why you dont buy the lids of canning jars?
The toothbrush holder would also be good for pencils, pens, artist brushes and greenery (I didn't see a hold in the bottom - sorry if I named that same things you said!) Thanks for the video.
I'm so envious of the big thift stores you go to and the prices are amazing. I live in Texas and our thift stores are outrageous on prices with not much older stuff.
I have been known to serve a meal in clear glass pie plates. Great for filling your plate with cold leftovers then pop into the oven while you walk the dog. Also a practical dish for individual, build your own nachos night.
*Hi Jami and Zeb❣️ Fun thrift haul today. Loved that large intricate gold frame, Zeb...so pretty‼️* *FYI, Jami...I live in MN...Winona is pronounced with a short "i". 😊* *I L🍋VE the Lemon Meringue pie plate. My FAVORITE kind of pie‼️😁*
Love, love your mountains. I dont know what it is about the mountains there, cause I have seen the ones in Canada, Pennsylvania, etc but the ones I see that I absolutely love are the ones you dhow and Alaska. Even compared to Alaska the ones there have something about them that I can't stop looking at them. I think we have missed out on winter cause we only ended up getting around 5 inches and we get closer to 40 inches and more for winter. Yesterday we had 70 degrees and today suppose to get 75 today. To me it's to early to have this warm of weather. I live in a town of about 65 of us and we have what we call a junk yard and a guy used to pile cars there to use as old parts to fix others, but he passed and there has been a lady staying there with no heat, no running water, etc and she is a person in trouble a lot and on stuff but she won't have a place to go now when she gets out of jail. Love your hauls especially the bunnies. You guts have a good dsy.
Great haul! I see other people pass things that need whipping down or washing and I cring because they are to lazy to do that, and ya'll jump right in. Love your videos! Have a great time tonight, love to you both.❤
I have been to savers with my friend that is really the thrift queen it’s fun but I get so upset when I look at things if I go into a Goodwill, that’s the prices are higher than the dollar store or Walmart
Just a heads-up..I'm sure you have heard how expensive everything is getting at the good wills in the east and south...I'd be picking up everything I could now, it won't be long probably before it comes close to you. And it happens overnight! One day okay...the next day, what the heck???? Fair warning. You guys have a gold mine there! Reap now while you can.( Dooms day sayer) Lol
WOW! $1.50 for the soup tureen.... that's crazy. Here in CA it would probably be about $10. So expensive here in CA. Your area has so many treasures and the prices are fantastic. So jelly.
Wow prices are so cheap where you live ,I kinda don't understand stand why you jack prices wen you resell the stuff you pick up ,you don't pay barely anything for it 🤔
Your Goodwill stores kill me, absolutely. I cannot believe what you find, the condition of the furniture and the prices you call out! GW in GA--prices going up, junky furniture, no fitting rooms since Covid. They keep uping prices, gonna lose customers in my opinion.

Great idea! They’re fun hung on the wall too
You could also use that cute toothbrush holder as a frog for flowers!
Love the oval frames. They will look amazing in a gallery wall.
Your thrifting makes me happy!

I love that you all recycle. I love to watch your videos. God bless The Ray family. Amen.

I liked the little table that was on the cart with the shelves Zeb got. Would be fun for out on a patio or deck with potted plants on it.
My favorite finds today were the small Italian oval picture and the pie plates. I think the picture would sell for more untouched.

You could put flowers in the toothbrush holder.
Love Zeb’s striped afghan. It reminds me of rainbow sherbet.
The small green afghan is what we call a pram blanket here in the UK. Usually someone will crochet one as a present for new babies pram
Love all those pictures frames You thrifted ! I really enjoy your furniture painting videos too 😊
I love that shelf I would have bought them and refinished it 👍😁
i'm in Arizona right now and my daughter, mother in law and i went to the DI. we had so much fun and just loved it

Love all the fun treasures, great video
great stuff!
I love Kerr jars. Kerr is my mother’s maiden name❤
Toothbrush holder - makeup brushes, pens & pencils, artist brushes, small vases, rattail combs
I like the toothbrush holder. You could probably use it to hold makeup brushes., paint brushes, flowers.....
Wow so jealous, I've been after a small narrow shelving unit to paint for my back yard
The recipe pie pans are great hostess gifts, with a pie in it!
ZEB walked right by that quilt, I was trying to tell him....Zeb you passed the quilt..Jami found it lol 😂😂😂
Love the pie pans for sure and the blue batter cup
Great finds👍👍🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀
Someone said your thrifting makes them happy. I say it makes me "jelly"! LOL
Another great haul. I love some of the frames you got!

I think it’s because our mountains shoot straight up and we’re in the valley. They are even more magnificent in real life.
I love the wooded shelf
I’m in south central Nebraska & it was 74 here today but windy!!!
Great haul! I see other people pass things that need whipping down or washing and I cring because they are to lazy to do that, and ya'll jump right in. Love your videos! Have a great time tonight, love to you both.❤
I sooo wish we had access to the thrifting sources you have.
My next project is to find old royal albert plates and make a tier tray! You have good finds in your part of the world!
Great finds. ❤️the swan. ❤️shopping for furniture pieces to paint.
Your Goodwill prices are SO reasonable. Here in SW Florida overpriced is the norm . Quality has also gone down often as well 😞
I love the tutti fruitti afghan
I hope you bought the MCM Franciscan dishes, I found a 48 piece set for $3,850!,
Should have bought the canister with the squirrel to go with the one rabbit one. To be sold as a set.
That tooth brush holder would make a make up brush holder.
It's beautiful! I also subscribe to the more is better school of decorating. 😊
Paint the swan pink. Love the octagonal frames.
We used to have a desert industry Thift store in Portland Oregon but it closed I was sad the best thrift store 😢😢😢
The little crocheted one is a baby blanket.
I'm surprised squirrels are way better than bunnies. That was so cute I would have grabbed it
Your eyebrows look amazing! ❤️
I’m still screaming 😱😬🤗❤️
Had to stop to say 😮 $1.50 for the soup tureen with ladle ok back to video
Nice, guys!!
I have been to savers with my friend that is really the thrift queen it’s fun but I get so upset when I look at things if I go into a Goodwill, that’s the prices are higher than the dollar store or Walmart

OMG I love this store were is this good will at
Soup turean was there last week (or one like it) it was behind the gravy boat. I wonder way you didn't give it a second glance
Don't paint the shelf! All my furniture is dark wood. Try selling it unpainted first ❤
❤❤❤

The toothbrush holder could maybe used as a flower frog?

Zeb, what happened to the Lehi Annual you found last week?
We have it at our house. Lots of our neighbors are in it so we kept it.
Do you ever pick up antique curios? Or any cut curios?
Sometimes. I’m not a huge fan of painting the insides😂😂. But sometimes I do.
1000x 👍🕊🐑
Wow prices are so cheap where you live ,I kinda don't understand stand why you jack prices wen you resell the stuff you pick up ,you don't pay barely anything for it 🤔
You should have got all the pie pans for Pi day 3.14
Just joking.
You and Zeb really like each other, don’t you?
We really do. He’s my best friend.
Why do you pronounce Deseret as desert?
I’m saying Deseret I probably just sound weird kinda like people from back east they speak a little different
@@JamiRayVintageI hear Deseret 💁♀️
The swan is beautiful, don’t paint it.

Same thing happening in CA. Expensive. Junky. So sad.
