- In this video I purchased one of the most popular fake LEGO Star Wars Sets on Amazon. A "LEGO compatible" Star Wars Droid carrier! Safe to say this set does not deserve it's spot at number 1. It seems like every seller is selling one of these fakes to try to make a quick buck. The part quality is pretty terrible and seriously needs a redo.
I am MrWoody, I build LEGO and usually destroy it too! I have been building ever since I was a kid and absolutely love LEGO Star Wars and Halo MEGA too. Come build some LEGO with me!

You should try buying random minifigs bags at garages sales sometimes you can get very rare minifigs for cheap but they can be damaged.

I have some of those fake droid mini figs and they're alright but have week clutch power and most of them easily break.
This is true they do get pretty weak I have already had some of the legs break at the joint 🥲
For $25 compared to $120 these sets are more than an acceptable fill in. I don't "play" with my legos, I build them and display them. For a display they work great, but if you want to play with them good luck.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one kislux Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

Fake Legos can be useful if your gonna use them on animation especially you replaced the original Lego figs to fake lego figs if there gonna get destroyed.

I wouldn’t call Mega fake Lego, it is another large building block company with the same quality as Lego, not some cheap Chinese building block brand

You are an edgy lego purist. This carrier is immense bang for the buck. I bought mine directly from aliexpress and it came with 33 droids (13 more than the mtt) for around 20 bucks. The build quality is amazing (i own many original lego sets including lego star wars and the quality is exactly the same on most bricks. The only problem you may have is with pins and junctions but those are easily replaceable with original pieces) and the design is better than any droid carrier set we've ever had. Come on, this small set carries more droids than the mtt. And it has more playability than the other carriers. The pins inserted into the technic arms can be replaced with a frictionless 3 long pin and the droids will automatically fall with gravity. This effect is awesome and sets like this one show why "fake" lego has its values.
I won't argue that fake lego has its value but everything in this video is true. I am not a "lego purist" but there is no way these bricks or designs come close to what LEGO is doing.
@@MrWoodyYT then point me which similar lego set has superior quality. Like i said, there are some pieces with slight quality issues (loose pins) but those can easily be corrected by ordering cents worth of pieces through bricklink. You'll still be paying much less either way. And like i said, this design is absolutely better than similar lego sets. All other carriers don't have as much details, size and playability as this one. In other words, if this was a lego set it would easily be one of the best sets of the last few years
