I'm an unbiased Juke fan, and I'd have to say JSU's version was better. By no means am I saying the Jukes was trash. Jackson just had a better arrangement on this one, and their execution was damn near perfect. Hats off to both bands for an amazing performance. They were the only 2 that mattered tonight.

I'm an Unbiased Boom fan and the JukeBox version is hands down better to me.. The Arrangement was unbelievable.. The Boom's version was good too, it just didnt do it for me..

JSUs is just so clean and catchy. It captures the style of the song and still blows. SUs sounds like it just wants to be loud. Only the trombones are capturing the feel of the song.
JSUs Version is insane! One of my favorites they play this season! The chords from their woodwinds to their brass line give me Drum Corp augmented chord/ mellophone lick vibes, the arrangement is just so well written and played amazingly! SU’s was good but A bit muddled at points , but when they went full force in the last 10 seconds, that was 🔥. Great job by both but JSU in my opinion took this one!
I understand this was in Su’s stadium but no way the crowd was that excited at the end for Su because that was hot garbage..Jsu by a long shot on this one

THE BOOM definitely had the better arrangement. Cleaner, dynamically better, transitions were better, the Drum beat was better. THE CONTROL in the runs.... They killed it with the "pitch bend!" THAT'S IN THE ORIGINAL SONG! When I 1st heard them play it at memorial stadium, I was so amazed because I know how the song goes and just being a musician, hearing that is crazy! Haven't heard a band do that ever. SU needs to remember that sometimes "Less is More!" WT Crab of 2004.... THE BOOM ALL DAY!

Going into the outro of the song from when the tubas come back in for JSU’s arrangement is actually really fire. Idk what instruments are playing that build up, but it sounds like the IMAX intro build it is actually AWESOME.

JSU took the "W" on this one! Their balance, arrangement, delivery was soooooo goood and clean!! Totally sound like the actual song. I didn't really know what SU was playing to be quite honest. They always have power, but...the arrangement lacked luster and it really seem like they were trying way to hard.

I don't think they let any band enter before the Sonic Boom anymore because about 4 years ago su's band pushed through and practically trampled the female police officer, who was at the entrance, after they were told they couldn't march in before the Boom. The band director had already been told that the band couldn't come in yet. They rushed in because they wanted to drown out Get Ready during the SBOTS entrance.
