I have played Daggerfall Unity and I have no idea what's going on too. I mean, what? How did he teleport to the exit of the first dungeon right from the start??
It's OK I've played this many hundreds of hours when it was first released and I can barely follow this with all the glitches and stuff that are used lol
nothing interesting happens in this game other than having spooky ghost king mystery and u know, building entire elder scrolls lore we have today. in this game Talos becomes a god basically, u activate the giant golem and everything is redconed and canon at the same time.
I recently started playing Daggerfall Unity, and the first thing I tried when I came across a locked door was to smash it with my sword. It opened. Lol. I just assumed that since this is an old school RPG, you should be able to break through doors like in Fallout 2. And I was right. It's just that modern "RPG" games have a lot less mechanics than older ones, so it's just assumed that every character can do everything, fight, shoot, be a mage and a thief at the same time, so there's no way to deal with a locked door other than lockpicking it because every character can do it.
You can hold down the spell menu key and the enter key to rapidly cast the spell at the top of your menu, then fast travel somewhere else to get the skill levels. The character creation chooses Thaumaturgy, Mysticism, and Illusion as major skills, which each have an incredibly cheap spell effect that can be put into one spell.

yeah, the previous wr was set in 2016 by adiiiihhh. that's partially because very few people run daggerfall, but it was also just a good run

If you hold left mouse and enter at the same time it will click "okay" on every frame
