No If you take 3mm then measurements will change accordingly bcoz thickness is different.....

I can’t see how the knots are done because your hands are hiding it going from the middel to the right. I have tried so many times, but I can’t figure it out

Sorry for inconvenience, while making macrame sometime its difficult to see what is recording...
But if you are beginner I recommend you to see first all basic knots tutorials....In this plant hanger mostly I used Double Hitch Knot

@@TheCraftPot The knot that I can’t see starts 6 minuts into the video. I am not a beginner but also not a professional. My sweet neighbors couldn’t figure it out either 😉 I do not get that nice line of knots going from the middle to the right as I do from the middle to the left side.

First 4 minutes of video making square knots, adding bead
Then next take a single strand divide into 2 parts & insert remaining cords with the help of reverse lark head knot (left & right both) so that we can make a diamond shape..
Then Double Hitch Knot left & right both side ....
