    Students need to leave the country after they are done with their studies; that is the original condition of a study permit. If their acquired skills are required by the local economy, they are welcome to apply for permanent residence. However, if their skillset is not necessary, they have no other option but to leave the country. Permanent residence was never a "right" or a "promise" they are claiming now.

    Why do people from foreign countries think they can demand things from a country they are not citizens of?

      @@vkchaitanya2003 They came in as students. Student visa is not a permanent residence permit. The government is not liable for the decisions of foreign individuals.

    Islanders are not bad people, its just you cant stay in Pei or Canada. You will go back home. The faster you come to that realization, the faster you can prepare for your journey back. All this protesting is a waste of time and energy. Plus, its upsetting Islanders who live here. Its disrespectful. At this point you need to leave and quietly.

    They should have thought about whether they wanted to coast along in a teenagers job at Wendy's or become an actual contributing citizen! They should have refused subsidized wages! They should have competed with society, and not just looking for the easiest way to become a citizen.

    Isn't it should be a common sense? You come as a guest, you're welcome to bring your value and culture, but make sure to adapt to the host house. If the host likes you, you stay. If the host wants you to leave, you leave. Since when staying at someone house and demand that this will be your house becomes a norm?

    The people acting on behalf of Canadians are making Canada seem incompetent and dishonest. This particular problem is connected to much broader issues; we're in a negative feedback loop with our commodified survival at the heart of it. Ensuring a basic standard of living for EVERYONE is the most logical military strategy.

    • @CandaceMarie.
      @CandaceMarie. Před měsícem +11

      What are you even talking about? If you think Canada is dishonest, go home! You don't come here as a temporary worker or student and expect to be handed PR. It's not guaranteed to you. That's why it's called TEMPORARY. If you are protesting in the street, you aren't studying or working so... What exactly are you doing here?
