This was a really fun video. A good theme connecting all of the clips, but without seeing the same thing over and over and over again. Very nicely done.
Baseball is just the best game for statisticians. It is made of measurable situations and moments. The play itself,… we see the reflexes, good plays and this very neat stuff. Love baseball and baseball stories.
I watch a lot of these highlights and I gotta say thank you for fresh content. I've seen maybe 2 or 3 of these particular plays and that makes me happy for what it's worth. You just got a new sub 😁
6:50 Hard to argue Alterre didn't pull off the most quintessential over the shoulder catch ever. Mays (and others) now need a different label for describing their fine rundowns.
Couple of good ones you missed. One was in game 6 of the 1980 World Series. In the 9th inning with bases loaded, the Royals' Frank White hits a pop foul by the Phillies dugout. Bob Boone and Pete Rose converge on it. Boone goes to catch it but it pops out of his glove but Rose snags it for the 2nd out. The other was a game between the Reds and Phillies. A base hit to right field. Paul O'Neil tries to pick it up but keeps bobbling it so he kicks it in frustration and the ball goes right to the cutoff man preventing a run.
You cut some of these off too soon. For instance, the one with the pop up at first, you cut it off before the explanation of whether he was pushed off the bag and what the rule would be.
It's an open air stadium, so it's probably the direction it's facing that causes that. Fun place to watch a game though, but Al Davis building that giant eyesore to add more seats for football is one of the ugliest things in any ballpark in the league.
What causes a bat to break? Is it a defective bat? It can't be the power of the swing. I've seen out-of-the-park and across-the-street home runs with no bat breakage.
wear and tear. Most of those bats aren't immediately replaced and may actually go a game or two. Grab a stick, start bending it back and forth, keep doing so while adding more pressure, eventually it'll snap.
My understanding is, that's a mistake you can make once, and if you dig in on calling a Marine 'Soldier' it will almost immediately become fighting words, and that fight will be no casual affair.
The Gurriel Altuve double play seemed out of place. Gurriel started the play a little far from first, but I wouldn't call it an unexpected or unusual play.
Don't worry, we get you prefer to watch a sport where all the players are shit, can't score for a damn, get tied games all the time and the players prefer to pretend to be injured than actually be good. " You drooling inbred.

Some serious solid gold moments.
Damn good highlight reel!

Still. ...Really great Video, thanks for the share!

This vidja needed to be an hour longer!
This video is underrated. I think at least 10k likes

With the Pujols Iannetta catch I was thinking about the Rose Boone catch
I think they were going for ones most people haven't seen before. I feel like those 2 make nearly every bobble highlight reel
@@fryncyaryorvjink2140 isn't there one of Bo Jackson catching a fly ball bare handed?

watch it again He was not even on the bag
Pretty cool a lot of these were before replay and the umps got the call right!
神隊友還是很重要的👍👍👍由其是07:05太神了~😂😂👍👍👍👍
Gotta l💘ve baseball.
The real question is why do so many of these clips involve west coast teams??
Play #1 - Ump blew the call.
This also looked the same to me, but this is the future. We must be able to tell what the decision ended up being?
What is it about that dump in Oakland that makes it so easy to lose balls in the air?

Pretty insulting. to any Marine to say he was in the “Army”. ….
Amen to that sir
Close enough.
