GREATEST ELK FIGHT EVER | Memory of a lifetime

- Two giant bull elk fight to exhaustion over cow elk in the rut. Brandon The Boy sneaks to 53 yards on bull elk and his cows with a rainstorm moving in. Waiting patiently listening, as bull with a small herd of cows he is stalking bugles in a giant bull, leading to filming the fight of a lifetime. Made the right call by not risking my life sliding off the mud cliff and falling to my death or getting trapped in a hole with rattlesnakes. One of the greatest things I have ever seen in the wild and blessed to have the memory.

One time on an Amtrak train in Colorado about 100 yards from my window I saw a huge bull elk shedding his huge horns on a tree. Then behind him about 10 yards I saw a cow followed by 18 other elk cows in a straight-line heading up the hill towards the bull elk. One hell of a harem for that fella!!
I spend WAY to much time surfing though YT vids & there's so much fakery & garbage on here but THAT is one of the BEST I've ever seen!
This is how I shot my bull last year! They get very distracted fighting an then its time to close distance for a shot! Sweet film!

Can see why some bulls go into winter in poor condition
Not that it made much difference here, but if you wear your hat forward the human face is a little less recognizable in the extra shade. Even with full camo the use of light and shade makes a big difference. Anything to break up the human form animals see as a threat.
