It is always pleasure to hear Nagamuthu sir's lecture. Being a Sri Lankan I feel lucky to be in this era so I can listen to Indian legal luminaries without any cost. Really appreciate the efforts of Friday Group.
Honorable Justice Shri. Nagamutthu Sir is the Living Legend in the Law. Thank you very much Sir.
We are blessed of having a simple stalwart of criminal law. He has inspired me by his judgement as a judge and at present by his online classes in simple language. During pandamic he held us to usefully spend the time by his lectures. We request him to keep holding up the judicial lamp to enlighten us more. 🙏
Good Job... Thank you Sir... For valuble Information...

Congratulations, excellent lecture.Though I am not belonging to Law profession, due to my enthusiasm and interest i have read some books on criminal law.I am. totally admired when you classiby various documentary and non documentary evidences by your experience played a dual role as judge and lawyer, here what I want to say,at present most of the Law colleges run run by private and even Govt. too, the lecture program is not up the mark, your lecture can definitely help both students and faculty in Law institutions.l have trust on it.

I too am very lucky to listen to such great legal luminary! Kindly also ask some legal luminary to speak on why there is so much of discrimination in High Court Benches in different States! Why Uttar Pradesh which tops the State list in having maximum number of pending cases has just one Bench and that too so near to Allahabad at Lucknow only and nowhere else and that too way back in 1948 and for the hilly areas of undivided UP and so also 30 districts of West UP not a single HC Bench created and this despite the irrefutable fact that Justice Jaswant Singh Commission headed by former Supreme Court Judge and appointed by Centre itself recommended three HC Benches for undivided UP and still Centre has not allowed even a single HC Bench to be created and for Maharashtra which tops in the latest justice index ranking list and which already had multiple HC Benches was given one more at Aurangabad in 1985 and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray approved one more at Kolhapur for just six district only and lawless Bihar which is the home state of incumbent President of Supreme Court Bar Association Mr Vikas Singh has none and so also West UP which owes for more than half of the total number of pending cases of UP has none? Why Centre happily approved two more HC Benches for Karnataka at Dharwad and Gulbarga respectively for just four and eight districts only in 2008 first as Circuit Bench and then as permanent Bench but for 30 districts of West UP which has more than 10 crores population which is more than 4 crores of Karnataka was denied even a single HC Bench on baseless grounds even though lawyers of West UP have been agitating when neither I nor even my father was born and still Centre does not want to give even a single HC Bench for West UP or for lawless Bihar? Why Centre happily approved High Court for same hilly areas in 2000 by creating it as a separate state and as long as it formed part of undivided UP not a single HC Bench allowed even though Justice Jaswant Singh Commission recommended HC Bench at Dehradun and Nainital respectively? Why the 230th report of the Law Commission of India has not been implemented even after 14 years which recommended creation of more High Court Benches in States? Why Centre only favours few elite States like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh only to have multiple HC Benches but for UP which tops the State list in having maximum number of pending cases has just one and lawless Bihar none! Kindly speak on this also by inviting some eminent lawyer or legal luminary! My very best wishes and best regards, Sanjeev Sirohi, Advocate

Dear sir, pls write a book on criminal trial.
With respects
👍
Kindly clarify my doubt
CBI manual stipulate 2 kinds of sumotto FIRs,
first -FIR is lodged by a cbi officer as complainant, who carried out verification/ preliminary inquiry & its registration & recording is carried out by another cbi officer.
Second - FIR is sumotto Initated, registered & recorded by a SP level Cbi officer on the basis of source information ( Source information report as per cbi manual ) & it’s investigation is assigned to a Inspector of police ( CBI).
Question- in 2nd kind of FIR the contents of FIR cannot be proved & hence are not admissible & further cannot be relied by the trial court for any purpose.
I have a doubt
Respected lawyers Pls any one carify,
If an injured victim is admitted to hospital by an unknown person, and the matter is informed to the police by the Hospital authority.
Police arrive and record a statement from the victim. Whether this statement be considered as statement recorded u/s 161 CrPC or will it be form the First Information to the police to register FIR?
Though the incident is founded that it is a case falling under general exceptions, why the police don't bring these sections in FIR?
Hyderabad Telangana state INDIA country.
Namaste. Thank you all
So much of distubance, phone rings, poor vomed mike given to Mr. Justice(Retd.) making the voice of the speaker not receiving the audian. Pl. Look into.
