Y'all probably have not heard of me; and I have read every comment and review regarding this awesome musician and it has by far touched my heart. This wonderful man is my father and I am so proud to say that along with my 3 siblings I have yet to embrace. It has been a long hard journey but reading these really does wonders and makes it all the worth while. As they say it's not the destination but the journey there is what makes it worth it all. Good times good people good memories thank you all. God bless

Lunar Oops Your father has inspired many people and he knew my father and grandfather as they were entrepreneurs who used to support your father in Tonga. I took up ukulele because I loved watching him and I am glad to be inspired by such a man

Praise the Lord! Thank you for the video cause I grew up and heard about him playing ukulele with his teeth. Finally I see him. He is a very talented/gifted man. I believe one day one of his kids/grandkids/great grandkids will get his talent. God bless his family.

They play basic ukulele not like this dude. This man was well known throughout the Pacific including the Cook Islands & Tahiti. Sir Sione Aleki was based in Hawaii
      as the best 1960's-2000's

@@wesmokof1466I’m well aware of Mr Aleki living in Hawaii as to we’re he learnt play the Hawaiian style Kamaka ukulele typical strumming to hawaii and adopted by other Pacific islands , the way he plays , eg strumming , teeth picking is or was common in Hawaii back then lol “ excepted for the excessive rolling all over on the ground “ which is all Mr Aleki , as to say the cook island and Tahitian play basic ukulele is debatable as both islands styles similar an innovative , unique and is an evolved sound from the 8 string ukulele , czcams.com/video/WZIXfDj7WLY/video.html , czcams.com/video/IwTo3ty0rgU/video.html this is we’re Mr Aleki style comes from czcams.com/video/esbmbcOTDvY/video.html ,czcams.com/video/OmSXpjBcVqc/video.html , im not biased but Basic ukulele?.??? Other pacific islands have adopted n now incorporating n using our strumming style and 8 string ukulele accompanied by the 4 string kamaka

The Cooks and Tahitians has 8 strings. This dude Sione has a 4 string. And started playing in Tonga not Hawaii. Get your facts right. He was only in Hawaii on tour and decided to spend some time there. They are sound differently and in the style of playing. Listen to his albums, Pacific Ukulele 1972. I don't think Cooks and Tahitians can match his style and sounds .Prove it on CZcams with any other ukulele album. Where's your pack up. Watch all video of Cooks and Tahitians 8 ukulele strings players, not even close. His 4 string sounds as good as your 8 strings.
