If Arsenal managed to sign Kimmich by some miracle. It's going to give their midfield double strength. Kimmich-Rice-Ødegaard trio will be absolute impeccable because these 3 players compliment each other in a beautiful way. They can attack and defend with quality (0 weakness when it comes to all round play) . With Rice along side Kimmich will start to work like Gundo did with city.

Gabriel Jesus has shown that he is exactly what Pep saw that he is: a Squaddie. He’s not good enough goal wise and is injury prone. Him coming off the bench and also starting certain matches is his best role, as he has some really good qualities of play.

As an Arsenal fan I would say that Jesus is a good player but definitely isn't providing at the level I was hoping.
To say that we should have 'expected' him to do better is just nonsense. Fitness aside, moving into a club that has a multi-faceted playing style just didn't suit him and I don't think Arteta had the same idea for Jesus as the fans did.
We definitely need an upgrade up front, a powerhouse of sorts but I still think that Jesus will head to a club that can make better use of his specific talents by the end of 2025.

Kimmich would be a great addition. However, he is not a defensive minded midfielder. He was seen as one by Bayern and the national team for a long time now but that backfired. Kimmich was world class when he played alongside Thiago at Bayern. He is above decent at right back. There are some voices that say that right back is his best position 🤷♂️

@DeskDesk19 PSR rules dictate that we have to run the club as a business. We had to do this with Raya and a loan with a obligation to buy. We don't have unlimited money like City so we will not be spending big money on 29 year old players. Our current player profile is 20-25 so this is not happening.
Gabriel Jesus is a key player in our team and his goals in the CL where very important. He is not going anywhere and neither is Zinchenko.
both have failed for me. Jesus don't score enough and Zinchenko is a liability in defence, I used to love both but they were good for a top 4 club now that we compete for the league we need better....
