Funny story, I was at a restaurant with a group and we were doing a bible study. All of a sudden, at the other side of the place, a shofar was blown. My eyes got so big as I thought Yeshua was coming. The group got a giggle. I just look so forward to the day He does!!!

As a musician growing up, I'm always amazed at how much the Lord loves music and uses trumpets or brass instruments as heraldic and praise instruments. Psalm 150. Like JS Bach always wrote on his composition manuscripts "Soli Deo Gloria" - For the glory of God only".

As a young child, I had a repetitive dream that I now understand, involved the shofar. That piercing sound would wake me and I was shaken, not understanding, but KNOWING that this was important and meant to be remembered in fear and trembling. I had NEVER forgotten this dream, and I had it almost 70 years ago!!

I blow the shofar and when I heard it the first time I felt called to blow the shofar. We blow the shofar at our church and I love that. Thank you for your teaching on the Shofar, I have really enjoyed your teaching. God Bless you Brother Jonathan.

Cool Shofar! I believe in God’s Jesus Christ of Lords. I believe in the Holy Bible book. I have shofar that I learn to practice to blow the shofar. Shofar is powerful of trumpet in God’s heaven. Yes, it's become popular to blow a shofar at times. But at times that are appointed, it's a great blessing to meditate on Numbers 10 where we are to make 2 trumpets of pounded silver. In any case, we can run and win by His guidelines to win that great prize.

What is the difference between the use of the shofar and the silver trumpets?
First of all when I heard this man I was like in awe of him and loved him more knowing he was a Jew but something seemed off with all the secrets, wanted to be called rabbi, and covering his head when he prays and prophesies
