Hi Nugget great finds today. on the slave tag saying porter. A porter was the guy who would handle baggage and collect tickets on a train were usually black. There is a song Hey Porter by Johnny Cash.

Daisy is as cute as a button 😂
I believe the oval piece is a barrel band. That goes around a rifle stock to hold the stock and barrel tight out towards the forearm. More than likely a muzzle loader. The percussion cap is off of a muzzleloader also. Great finds.

She sure does, trying it out. I've used both and can still continue to find just as much with my AT Pro. It comes down to swinging over the right target and digging it haha. Or whoever digs the most signals .
