How Good is Teddy Blake Leather ? | Teddy Blake Ava Review | Ava 11" in Stampatto Leather

- Let's see just how luxurious Teddy Blake's leather is. They sent me this Ava bag made with their Stampatto leather.
Having already dissected their Giorgia bag before, made with Palmelatto leather, I prefer this Stampatto leather. Teddy Blake had gotten our attention initially as we were investigating high quality leather bags in this "affordable" luxury bag space.
The Teddy Blake Ava has a protective finish on it against stains and scratches. The interior suede is a premium feature, but just be careful with getting it dirty as suede is more difficult to clean.

Maybe I'm just not very trusting but I feel when companies send you their product they may be sending you a special product meant for review. Produced differently than what they have in-store or online. I would much rather they invited you to their store to pick one off the shelves because that is more true to what the consumer would be presented with.

He has done a review some time ago and he ordered the bag himself. He was very critical about this bag. I believe it was the Giorgia one.
Finally a review on their ava and not one of those cheap looking totes. I have the 11 inch ava but mine is croc embossed leather with suede lining and as a luxury bag owner, i thought it was great for the price. It's also one of the only bags that STILL has that smell expensive leather smell after 3 years.
I've seen alot of complaints from other creators and their remarks just didn't add up to what i see, smell, and feel with the bag i bought. However, they are always the "apple" tote bags.

Thank you for this! I have the 9” Ava in stampatto leather. I felt duped by Teddy Bake after your earlier video. I feel much better now as my 9”-in the color blue jeans, with silver hardware-is my most beautiful bag.

Yay! I was a little worried what you might say as this is my favorite of this brand’s leathers. I have 2 bags with this leather because of how amazing it is. My 2nd fave is the croc-stamped leather, but I know that’s not your favorite in general due to another one of your videos. The one thing the company could do is use better hardware. That’s my biggest gripe 😊 Thanks for the review and reassurance!

Hey Tanner, I've been on the fence to purchase this bag since I first saw the ads on Instagram, then I stumbled on your earlier video on the Plamelatto Teddy Blake bag review and decided not to purchase the bag. However, after seeing this video on the Stampatto leather, I'm convinced and decided to make my first purchase of Teddy Blake's Ava Stampatto bag today. I'm excited to have a first hand experience on the bag coming through the mail and hopefully it matches your description 😊 thanks for making such an informative video! btw I may start checking out your products too!
I'd like to follow up on this, I just received my Ava bag in the mail. Was extremely excited to open it, hoping it was just like what you described. To my disappointment, it was nothing like you described. The bag I received has chipped coating on the lining of the bag, the hardware was all scratched and the suede inner lining is not high quality suede, it feels rough and you can see them peeling. Honestly, I was not sure if this was a used bag. I was thinking a Coach bag from the outlet still has better value than what I have received on hand. hmm, well I contacted Teddy Blake's customer service and see what they have to say.

I know it’s small but would prefer this bag without the brand and in gold. I wish it was on the other side and stamped or embossed type.
Great review! But the bag is $800+, not $450. I would rather buy a Celine of a similar size/shape and paid extra. Just because it’s CELINE and it would be easy to sell it should I ever fell out of love with it

It says 450 online but slashed the “retail value”. It doesn’t mean they sell it at retail. I don’t think. It’s a gimmick to make you think it sells for twice their price. Tbh, would rather get Polène. I don’t like the brand plastered in the front and back. Also the latter has better designs imo. Just personal taste.
As far as Celine, it’s 10x the price. I have one and love it. But I also like mid-range quality bags.
The bag almost never sells for 800+. It on discount year round as a gimmick to make you think you're paying less for a higher quality. For 450 or less, I think it's a good deal.

well, it's hardly an independent review if the brand selects the sample.
The quality, materials and craftsmanship doesn't change just because its a different model under the same designer house. The shape of the bag is very well known and loved hence why they probably chose it to garner attention for the product.

How do you feel about Teddy Blake hardware? I've read that it's cheap plastic. Also, how is the stitching? I'm not impressed by the suede lining. For the price of the bag they could have used full grain leather that already has a suede side to it. I'm somewhat disappointed by your recent reviews. It seems like you're less critical than in the past and it doesn't feel authentic.

I call bullshit on his reviews. When companies send in their stuff to review he goes softer on issues where in other cases he has been VERY critical of. For example the heavy standardized finish on leather. 🙄
