I was at arklahoma and talked with a rookie entry and he was disappointed that after spending a lot of money on his Acft and endless hours of practice, you throw a quicksilver into the mix that can takeoff in its wingspan and he has no chance of winning. Yes anybody should be able to compete but in a category that gives everybody a chance.If you don’t do something you are going to lose a lot of guys who would like a fair chance.

I agree with you, but the rookie class wasn't ever meant to be a competitive class. Anyone who registers and wants to make sure they're comfortable in the series should go to the Rookie class. We only have a winner in that class so that there's absolutely no way they can return to the Rookie class after they "win". There's no prizes for Rookie.

Don’t mean to be nit picky but where is the quicksilver going to go. Does he just work his way up the line until he’s the stol champ of the world? We really need a sub 1000# category or some such. Please don’t get me wrong,I love nat’l stol and want it to grow. I have a 200 hp pacer clone with a gleam in its eye.

Make it worth our effort. You guys will go away if you can't get pilots to sign up. You are totally dependent on pilots getting the itch, but you are slowly running off the guys that were there from the beginning.
