  • In 2020, I decided to challenge myself to post 100 tricks on Instagram. Truly, it is the best challenge I could've ever been a part of. I'd consider 2020 to be the prime of my juggling so far! These are the highlights. Thank you for all the love and support. Follow me @spencethejuggler on Instagram if you'd like to watch all 100 tricks that I posted as many didn't make it in this video because they are so many. :)

    So good seeing all of these tricks come together to an amazing video! These tricks are so crazy hard to do! You have pushed many boundaries, and I'm sure you'll push more the following year!

    Watching again a year later. This is elite (obviously)! Most jugglers probably can’t grasp just how physically demanding this stuff is

    0:47 I find the precision of your sideswipe height matches awe inspiring. The side to side comparison is a spectacular lesson in the physics of time in a gravity well.

    Thanks for uploading this to youtube! Despite the pandemic some jugglers were still able to excell in juggling this year and you were defintly one of them!
    Did you juggle more this year because of the challenge?
    Also do you have any type of practice structure or do you just put in a lot of hours juggling?
    I am currently only able to juggle outside in the cold so I am kinda thinking about how i will continue my practice once i am able to go to my gym again.

    • @spencethejuggler
      @spencethejuggler  Před 3 lety +5

      I definitely juggled more for sure. I would calculate that possibly 300+ hours based off of juggling a couple times a week for 2 to 4 hours. I juggled more this year than I ever did, I feel.
      I don’t truly have a structure except for starting with lower numbers and then progressing to higher ones. I mostly mess around listening to music and practice tricks that I usually have solid to warm up. When I come up with a trick I want to hit, I usually drill for that trick a little and attempt it till I get close enough to start filming for these. I don’t truly have a specific training method but I do make sure I warm up for things. Like sometimes when a number is not feeling great, I take a step back and drill a couple things to get the feel for it.

      @@spencethejuggler Insightful, thank you. I assume you prefer longer juggling sessions? If the most of your training was 2-4 hours.

    • @spencethejuggler
      @spencethejuggler  Před 3 lety

      @@snorlaks531 yeah usually. I like longer sessions that I just mess around and try stuff after I’m warmed up.
