I agree with everything except for new players starting on LOML. I read reddit quite often and usually try to answer post from newbies with their questions cause a lot of people is overwhelmed. One type of post i've seen lately A LOT, is new players having problems because they started in LOML and there's things they don't understand, they want to go to main land to do stuff you can't do in LOML and they don't have a way, or they find a way but then they can't come back, or they find LOML questline too long so they get out of there and then they need to go back because you need to finish it in order to keep going with the rest, etc... Starting in LOML is causing a lot of problems for newbies.
Aint no way asmon thinks BDO inventory is cluttered when this dude plays world of warcraft.

I dont agree for starting on the Morning light especially if you want to know about the story because on Stone Chamber they show you how all started how the black stone appeared and why Heidel and Calpheon hate eachother etc. But I agree that if you dont care about story its better to start on Morning or Winter the land itself its smaller and you can skip it faster.

Yeah, Mroning Light should have a big disclaimer that it's for people who have already played through Stone Chamber. And also, give people a heads up that LoML doesn't include a lot of combat. There are no wild mobs there.

I played BDO first time around 10/11 years ago, when it was still all in russian/korean or whatever (key for ~2€) Immediatly got hooked on the combat-style.
Then when it released, played ~3 years. Also were a BladeBoques enjoyer. Going BladeStyle!
Didnt pay attention about the kakao - pearlabyss change and lost my account..
Recently (~2weeks ago) started a new account and im back into it.
I wrote 2 times a horse name till i realised to repeat the sentence lmao. Yep, also got the pegasus but a female, bc back then female were rare af. Fml.
oh and.. holy shit, so much has changed. So much more to explore. Its beautiful.
Starting on LOML just locks you out of the entire main continent and the content, I don't even know what way does a new player have to return to mainland other than starting another character, level up to 60 and doing the Magnus, you could try a boat but it will be a pain in the ass to go through Margoria without knowing anything.
I love how everyone is wearing white shirts and rocking the same beard, alphas think alike.
Im new and I like the classic experience just saying at least so far. I'm currently doing my succession questline and what I got when I looked at the three starting areas that you could choose from was that the classic was the best option because it said for new players.

Peon makes a video like every year on BDO, he plays it, and like it otherwise he wouldn't even come back... he still can be critical about the weaknesses about the game
Grill bird meat 100% save u money, barely a cost difference between it and beer and the workers go through it much slower, ur using allot less. My beer I would have to restock 2000 to my family inventory 2-3 times a day. 2000 grill bird meat lasts me a few days on average 2-3 days.
Stone chamber is the only one that shows the combat right away. I really don't think Loml or the mountain are good first impressions. I love the mountain but not as a first experience.

Inventory and long boring quest lines are bdo's biggest issues. Overall, it's a great game though!
My only concern with bdo is that I cannot combo everything! 😂
I felt a little disappointed with loml because there was literally no mobs to grind like the rest of the game zones so the world felt extremely empty

Edit: 31:03 considering how Asmon just wanted to cause a red orc genocide, I think he would have especially hated LotML with barely any combat and the amount of combat present being "not free to roam and kill" type.
Yeah, definitely hard disagree on the LOTML as the go to for a beginner - if you're a new player, DO NOT DO THIS. Ancient Stone Chamber is still boring as hell but it showcases the general loop and mechanics waay better than LOTML. You can do the other questlines later.

idk if you are trolling or what but LoML is the worst questline and even worse for new player.
If it was my first questline I certainly wouldn't even finish it because I would quit the game by the end of it.
ye as a semi returning noob this game has way too much of everything UI, Loot, Class specific items, Systems, Weapon Arithmetics. It's very overwhelming. I don't even know if its worth grinding for.

The thing is its look like Asmon. Just quit for the second time without reaching 600gs in the game 😂...the only one reason he cant bind all skill like learn the game, not the game learn you😂
