If you use Android, you can make it sound better with LDAC. Which isn't supported by iOS
How do you enable that?
@Princeton_James bluetooth setting .press the cog next to the speaker and enable ldac
@@Princeton_James I did have to enable the developer option to enable LDAC, but there might be a different way. but the setting is (Bluetooth codec rate (or something like that))
Just got one…sounds great!! It is heavy, very heavy for its size…feels really well built, but I would not want to carry it around or strap it to my backpack.
And I’m not a fan of the speckles paint scheme…but overall I’m very happy with it, so far.
Yeah it's definitely got some heft to it. At least it won't blow over on the beach 😂

Got one as a UE customer, boy UE/jbl/Bose is gonna have to go back to the drawing board and tell the bean counters to lower their prices.

@memogee7814 I have the hyperboom so it's a good alternative to that only because it's a whole lot smaller.
It does sound better then my UE Blast.

I personally liked the formfactor of the Soundcore1,2,3 more for a little desk setup.
I'm just curious if the Motion 100/300 are considerably better than the Soundcore2 (which I have and can use as reference)

Its better or worst about motion plus ?
Little bit worst in volume department against the soundcore motion pluss. But 300 is better overall the in it´s default setting tunging dsp and better bass and midrange than motion plus. It´s just that motion plus needs a lot of tweak to have good sonics on each genre of music.
How does it copare to ths Bose Flex?
All my speaker are anker and edifier only.

I agree with that line of thinking but JBL is good quality material which means a lot to me personally so I have a couple JBL speakers I just wait for them to go on sale because JBL is for sure overpriced. 👍

Just got one. Now having Motion 300 and Bose Soundlink Mini (1st gen.), it's pretty hard to choose between them.
The fact that it's hard to choose between Bose and Soundcore shows how far they've come.
@@PatrickRambles indeed. I'm a big fan of Bose and in some ways I like it slightly better. For example, the mid-range sound a bit more pleasing to my ears. But morally it's growing old, can't deny that. The Motion 300 is more convenient to use.

I'm looking into comparison of this speaker vs the Tribit Stormbox Flow and so far, there's not much content available.
I'm noticing a large amount of distortion when Bass Boost is enabled at 5:40 with the drivers and/or passive radiators clearly overloaded, but it seems alright without Bass Boost afterwards on the same track.
At what sound level was this recorded?
What was the beat called at the beginning of the video where the speakers were in the tupperware?

@@PatrickRambles Well I thought since it only had a type c port that the speaker has that option. But after buying two of them lol didn't work. So have to return them. But one of the JBL speakers has that option. It was very tricky

I was just looking for a new Bluetooth speaker. My JBL Go is getting old.
The HomePod mini, while great, is neither portable nor friendly with non apple apps like audible and Spotify. The lag between play and pause, and then the playback positions getting out of sync make it… unusable. So I’m looking for a quality Bluetooth 😊
