Baby raccoons and peanut butter

- Today, I brought peanut butter and mini marshmallows for the baby raccoons to eat.
I think I'll have friends for life! They liked both. Their mother, Cutie Monster, wanted her cookies, of course.
There was also Mischievous Missy and Jill hanging around, keeping me on my toes. Again, I was able to capture cool footage of them coming down trees.
Just before filming, I had dug holes for the water bowls. This should prevent them from getting tipped over.

Mini marshmallows for mini oons. I love how Cutie knows to just help herself. I would never yell or scold you for not doing enough. You go above and beyond for those little loves. Seeing them climb straight down is fun. They are little gymnasts.

I thought I heard the babies purring yesterday so I looked it up and what I read said that baby raccoons definitely can purr.
Oreo should advertise raccoons eating their vanilla cookies!
One thing iv noticed over the years watching raccoons, most moms will steal/take food from their own. That's unfortunate but it definitely happens.

Cutie going straight for the cookie bag, the Oonfather's Favoured wanting whole cookies! Babies trying peanut butter! Little Miss afraid to use the main entrance -- but then a sneaky invasion temporarily casts out the Oonfather as the Fortress comes alive! This was great! Good Lord can they shimmy up those trees!

You totally rock for all you do. My daughter brought home a baby racoon last year and I raised it until it could survive on its own. They are incredible animals and hilarious to interact with.
Johnny 5 needs more input..lol. Great job of burying the water bowls ... Cutie Monster doesn't want to chat..just eat cookies. Being a mama of five babies, she don't have time for games. 😂. I like how you have to keep moving the camera so mischievous Missy doesn't get you... hahaha. I think she just wants your attention. Those little babies are really starting to get attached to you..... I expect to see them in your backyard at any minute. All of the other raccoons are thankful for your peanut butter treat all over the trees ❤️. You are the luckiest guy I know and these are the luckiest raccoons I know. That's funny, I grew up in the country and my brothers and I would go to the woods all day and hike, play and fish. We used to drink dirty nasty creek water and we never got sick either! By the way 5G is a weapon( high frequency that can fry us like a microwave when turned up) sure didn't speed up internet! Have a great weekend Mr.&Mrs Oons!

I did that too! We had a cabinreeks in MT where I grew up. I too played in the dirt and creeks. Played with frogs in our creek that ran right beside our cabin. Had an outhouse, a two holer! No electricty, or running water. Used kerosene lamps, candles, etc. It was a great childhood.😊❤

Number 5 will warm up once he/she associates you as the supply of sweets. Apparently, there are studies which show animals preferring sweetness over cocaine. That might explain Cutie Monster’s behavior whenever she doesn’t get her cookies. 😂😍

I loved the view when you held your phone straight up at the tree tops. It was adorable when the babies tried peanut butter for the first time. I make peanut butter sandwiches and the raccoons as well as the possum love them. Did anything Happen to Cutie's tail or has she always been that😮 way? I'm guessing she pulls fur from her tail to use as bedding material for her and the kits. I'm in Wisconsin. I'm glad you get to enjoy some furry friends out by you too.

I think she uses the fur in her den. Hopefully it grows back.
@@OONSDAY Oh! I remember my momma rabbit pulling her underbelly fur out to make a blanket like covering over her kittens.
I know when Bonnie comes back from the woods she's itchy with ticks and chiggers. She usually gets a bath once a week. And loves to be scratched.
