Kept trying to find out what you lose by dropping $1100 in price from the Formovie THEATER to this C3... pointing out the default (and inflexible) Chinese menus made this irrelevant. THANK YOU so much for saving me the frustration this would have caused me. Great review.

This is by far the best review i have seen on any projectors. Brilliant points and way you have shot the video. measuring ANSI lumens was great, i saw in some site that it is 2300ANSI, I will take your word on this and consider 1400ANSI. somehow i have not been able to see the smoke in the left bottom corner of white screen but was able to see flicker.
    Thank you.!

Hi excellent review! About te voltages: is it international Voltages ? I want to use it in TAIWAN, which is 110V. I asked the official Formovie support and they said only 220-240V… they said I HAD TO buy an additional transformer… but I have some other projectors, formovie T1 (= theatre), X5, dangbei… all is Chinese version bought at Taobao and all work with 110, 220… thanks for your help !

Hi Imp_G, T1 is meant as a global unit which is why they catered to support a wide range of voltages. For this model C3, it only indicates 200 to 240V.

@@HomeEntertainmentSG so we are unsure c3 supports 110V ? But it could ?

It is indicated in the product label that it only supports 200 to 240V. Therefore, the answer is that it cannot work with 110V.

Thanks for the video, did you contact the manufacturer about the menus and flickering? Looks like a decent enough unit besides a few big flaws.
