  • New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates on how to make New Orleans Jambalaya Pasta. Jambalaya is a stew that originated in Louisiana. It consists of Vegetables, meat, seafood and seasonings mixed with rice. For this recipe we are using pasta instead of rice. This recipe serves 6 to 8 people, and it is absolutely delicious.     I made this tonight and we loved it. My sister is from Bew Orleans and said it’s very authentic. Definitely will be making again. I used chicken, shrimp and sausage and doubled the ingredients to feed more. I was so proud of this dish. Thanks Charlie😍

      I did make this and it was a success as usual. I was hesitant as I have always used rice but the pasta was maybe even better and that surprised me. I have never used so many of a chef's recipes before. Thanks again for all you do for us. You the best chef and recipes on the site.

    Wow I've done this before with seafood and instead of stock I used half and half or heavy cream. I honestly never thought to just use shrimp stock a definite must try. I've just been calling it cajun shrimp when I make it. Thank you

    Hey Chef! I made your Jambalaya pasta for my family last night and it was incredible. Because I couldn't get tasso I purchased a smoked turkey leg. After removing the meat I threw the bone into the broth with the shrimp shells and it added a nice flavor. Thank you again!
