Honesty, really creepy and disgusting how the G-Adult seemingly sheds Irons like a snake. Dude’s corpse flopped on the ground like there wasn’t anything left of him.
He deserves it tbh
18:23 4 arms with extremely sharp claws capable of cutting an adult into many pieces, but proceeds to do a 360 kick because it's so much cooler
This and the og G Birkin were so much better in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, Birkin in the remake is nice, but his 4th form looks worse imo than the quadruped form from the original. Plus, this G-3 is my favorite design out of all of them.

I wish we got the classic G Adult as a boss for the sewer area in RE2make. I do like what they did with the remake in changing the design and making them normal enemies, but the classic one is slightly better IMO.
I whould pay for an operation Javier with the style of Resident evil 2 remake

GODDAMIT so you have to shoot at G Adult's ARM, not at his weakspot. I tried no damage on him and have never been able to cancel his arm swing attack. I ended up bruteforcing through him with fully upgraded magnum.

If you mean the story, outside of the fact that Leon and Claire are always together, no. In terms of gameplay its a chapter from Darkside Chronicles, the "Sequel" to Umbrella Chronicles, two rail-on shooters that recreate events from multiple Resident Evil games(Umbrella does RE1, 3 and 0 plus a new chapter that i beleave its canon plus some special stories for Wesker, Darkside does RE2, Code Veronica and a new chapter that gives some background for Leon and Krauser).
Gameplay wise, it’s a fixed rail shooter, which means the story goes on its own while you just have to kill enemies to survive until the end.
Why didn’t Chief Irons transform in the remake?
Because G Adult Bodies were never really bosses and he died before Claire got to him, I think
The G-Larva bursted out of his body and scurried offscreen. Never even grew into an Adult.
The two things that made this game almost unplayable: the extreme wobble of the camera even when not in motion. Even static enemies are difficult to aim at because the cameraman has Parkinson’s or something.
the burping sounds of all the poorly voiced zombies. They come off almost farty, overly generic when there are normally a variety of sounds paired with certain races and genders of zombies.

@@Sercroc I’ve played it and beat it. It’s a cheap way to add difficulty. I notice it every time I watch or play. It’s infuriating. It just gets faster at higher difficulty. Try playing resident evil 4 in vr where you are the camera (I’m an eagle eye in vr, steady as a rock), then tell me this camera isn’t shaky when you’re in the exact same perspective shooting in dark side chronicles. They wouldn’t need a camera wobble if the enemy behavior wasn’t so scripted. If enemy behavior varied a bit and was more random you’d spend most of your time trying to hit the moving target instead of bobbing around a stationary target.
You are correct, even Ninja Gaiden in Arcade was far easier than this game. camera wobble is a scum way to add difficulty level and making people get sick after playing for 15 minutes.
Even cameramen who always shooting film were very uncomfortable with this game because of shakiness making it annoyed to play for longer duration.

I love me some rail shooters but the shakey camera in this game literally makes me want to vomit because it shakes SO DANG MUCH!
Bruh, the first Birkin boss fight is sooo bullshit. He literally no longer has a health bar, but you still need to go through 3 extra scripted sequences that will insta kill you if you're not fast or accurate enough with this god awful shaky camera. I can't even play this game for more than an hour, because my eyes will legit start to hurt from dealing with it
I used to play this game like crazy on my Wii. I agree with the whole scripted boss fight. Especially towards the end where you fight Manuela's mother in Operational Javier. That part killed me so much on hard difficulty even when she had no health left. I eventually found the weapon to beat her on the parts I was having difficulty but it pissed me to no end back then when the boss was still charging after she/he had no health.
'Memories of a Lost City" on Darkside Chronicles is the closest thing to a "respectful RE-2 remake" that we will ever get from CAPCOM , , and I say this in 2022 and stand by it as an Old School Gamer from the SEGA SATURN 🪐 days and before , , , , 👍😸

@@coranbaker6401 also , so called Mr X ,is not supposed to wear a hat , and he is just the production line version of the type-1 Tyrant from the first RE game made in 1990s , , the trenchcoat is made of nearly bulletproof Kevlar , , even in Darkside Chronicles Leon nick named him "TRENCHY" , , , at least that fit the attitude of the situation , , ,👍👽
