Whilst we receive many messages, pictures, videos and comments on how an eatery is faring post a Gourmet On the Road episode, we rarely ever return immediately after the video is aired. However, we learnt that Chitradurga Mirchi Mandakki, an inspiring street food story, was overwhelmed with customers after our video, so I decided to venture out to see this response for myself and to also encourage the family behind this enterprise. I got to interact with many of our viewers, and along the way also met another inspiring street food vendor, Mrs. Muthulakshmi, who cajoled me into tasting her crunchy gobi manchuri. Thanks Kripal for visiting her stall. I used to stay in this locality a couple of lanes away. I remember those evenings when me and my roommates used to hop to her stall for noodles or gobi Manchurian or even gobi noodles. When you recently visited the other side of the street for bhaji i was wondering if you had chance to see her stall. There is another Dabeli stall near to her stall. So far I haven't eaten a great Dabeli than that.

Thanks Kripal for visiting and representing Mrs. Muthulakshmi's "Aunty Gobi" stall. I have been watching her work for hours at end, doling out hot fresh delicious Indo Chinese items to people with a beautiful smile and cheerful demeanor. Her stall is ALWAYS jam packed with regulars who swear by her food, this side of town.
Mr.Kripal just love your simplicity. Your interaction with people makes them feel so comfortable.
