ABOUT THE SONG:
"How Deep Is Your Love" is a pop song recorded by the Bee Gees in 1977 and released as a single in September. Originally intended for Yvonne Elliman, it was ultimately used as part of the soundtrack to the film Saturday Night Fever. It was a number three hit in the United Kingdom and Australia. In the United States, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 on 24 December 1977 (becoming the first of six consecutive US number-one hits) and stayed in the Top 10 for a then-record 17 weeks. The single spent six weeks atop the US adult contemporary chart. It is listed at # 20 on Billboard's All Time Top 100. Alongside "Stayin' Alive", it is one of the group's two tracks on the list. The song was covered by Take That for their 1996 Greatest Hits album, reaching number-one on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.
The song was ranked #366 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

That was horrible. Like every other rendition I've heard of this song, it took 100% of the soul out of the song and turned it into bubble gum top 40 glee crap.

The harmonization is pretty solid, I think your ears are playing tricks on you.
As for the singing: we're not all trained singers, this was an amateur project done without ever meeting in person, FYI.
Regardless, you can make your point with the bare minimum of courtesy, or can't you?
How did it take 100% of the soul of the song? The Bee Gees themselves sung it Acapella, and they are just so fond of harmonies. You may not like it because you don't like this style, but then again, who pissed in your cereal, Mr. Grinch?
Atleast the harmonization better than the one video you have on your channel.

Up until today I find this the finest effort Julien has ever done. The voices all have personality and blend together fantastically. You can hear all of these people's love for music and for this song in particular. It's not pitch perfect, it has clear misses in some of the video-post-synching but boy does it have vibe!!! And soul!!!

I sing tenor in many of my videos actually. I sometimes sing in full voice, sometimes in falsetto. I'm probably a baritone, so I manage the tenor part, but it's not the easiest.

Apologies for the timely response. But here it goes. I guess I feel most comfortable in JB's lower range. To do your part in this song, I have to do a falsetto but lower it a lot. Can't go high anymore. Can definitely go to Robin's lows with some effort. Still my favourite song to do vocal exercises after all these years. Hope you're all doing well. :)

Yeah, he has an easy natural bass voice. His track is somewhat equalized though, to give it some more depth and power. We probably wouldn't have this sound is us four sang into the same microphone all at once.
