Generally an hour long video is considered a long video, but the fact is, it's only a fraction of your long work days. Amazing work ethic that's for sure.
We can never praise Chris enough for the work he does and the attitude he brings with him everyday. It takes guts to put himself under the microscope each time he releases a video. Then again, if I had a work ethic like Chris's I would be posting videos everyday, too!
Chris has the common sense that is missing nowdays. One thing among many is how adaptable he is to different machines and situations. Don't let the public get you down, Chris!
The good old Volvo clearing a new forestway under your hand. This video to show what great work wood clearing it for one man. The great tree roots a wonderful material to the woodcarver. Thanks for this long video.
All those brush piles will make good cover for all the little critters in the forest. Deer will use them as windbreak’s in the winter and as cover in general. I jumped a lot of deer resting around them in my younger days.
Be a great right of way for fencing. Hope the owner maintains it after it is built. He has spent a lot of money to get it cleared. Lot of folks will build an expensive fence and not maintain it so in a couple years it is all grown up again...
Another great video Chris that old great big leaning tree gave you a fit. Well anyway brother you and John and yawls family stay safe and keep the videos coming
My first video i watched was you pulling a truck out of the mud with a backhoe and to here you say , hold on pedro it's about to get real . lol . I'm hooked .
Chris, suggestion: Build you a box that will sit down on the top deck to put your saw, gas, and oil in. Then you won’t have to set it off the machine every time you need to work and will have it with you while clearing. The box can have some feet that slip down in the top deck and a bungee strap or two to keep it in place.
That is hard work for sure. I had a little deja vu moment about 1/3 into the video that made me smile as you were clearing the same spot twice for a couple of minutes.
I am constantly amazed at the power of that machine, and hydraulics in general. I knew nothing about hydraulics until I started watching you and the Derby crew. You make it look easy.
Loved this long video Chris, yeah it's not hard to get turned around in the woods, my uncle got turned around in the woods at this park called skyline drive, an ended up lost for a week, had the game service searching an everything, helicopters, luckil, 2 of his friends that was with him, used to work for the game service an they survived the cold nights using leaves as blankets, crazy story, thanks for sharing awesome content all the time Chris, much appreciated buddy, 🌲🌲💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
That bucket never looked that big until you were loading up the chainsaw. Then it was obvious it was huge, the side panels looked 2 inches (maybe more) thick. That is a serious piece of steel.
That dozer wire is now more expensive than a solid gold wire. This job has turned into a lot bigger. Volvo the air condition beaver. Thanks for the hour of pure enjoyment.
I know you have been doing this kind of work for many years, but you sure do a great job. Its like the boom is an extension of your arm and you control it without even having to think about it. You take pride in your work and it shows. That's why you have jobs backed up for months! #Letsdig18 #SmoothAsSilk
I love your channel! Do you collect your videos in playlists? I would love to see one for horses and trail riding and farm ponds. Keep up the good work! I would love to study from you if I could in another life. For now I'll keep watching your videos 🤓
I dont know how you do it Chris, hold down a full time job yet still manage to put out at least 2 video's a week.., I watch many channels who's creators moan about having to put out a 20 minute video a week.
It helps that his videos ARE his full-time job. With other creators who edit full-time and get footage in their 'spare' time, it can be a month for 10 minutes of video.
Well his video content is literally his job so he just takes a camera to work and films what he is doing, then just has to edit, which if you've been around awhile is very minimal, which is fine by me it keeps things real and I like that style
If you had never seen an excavator and were living peacefully in the woods, then along comes Letsdig18. Wouldn’t that just scare the crap out of you to see this thing chomping it’s way through the forest?😳😬😧
I am just guessing here but I bet that was not the Karen everyone talks about asking you to knock over more trees. Always enjoy the inflight commentary bro. Safe travels
Chris could you use the back up camera the look backwards to see if your staying straight? Really enjoying the long video! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to provide us with these video’s.
That is some pile of trees, where I live that would be frowned on. Different climate, different problems. Nice to work the brush, little cooler. :) Have great week.
@@abdulmbijiwe890 Elephants, even ones that like to hang out in forests need grass. The cleared strip will allow grass to grow and also provide a place for these very social and intelligent creatures to congregate and plan out their next raids on the neighbor's corn fields.
Never would've guessed that one of those loads of brush would weigh in at 5,000 lbs. I thought you moved it with the excavator because of the volume not the weight.
I'd love to see you operating one of those feller/bunchers that work in the woods. Processing trees like you do! The only thing is, it doesn't dog out the stumps or you can't pile or load the brush. But it would be fun to watch you with it!
Anyone notice the repeated footage? @6:06 and @23:48? Don't get me wrong I love this channel, just wondered if anyone else noticed. Chris, if you are staying up late to edit these and you are tired, go to bed sir! You are one of the hardest working guys I know. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Volvo air-conditioned chainsaw lol Out in the timberlands of Montana we have modified excavators called feller-bunchers that grab the trees, lop them off, and lay them down wherever. Good to see V 220 running good for you. Haha, its not rocket science - but after you cross a property line and take down neighbor`s trees you have to get your Lawyer involved.
