Hi man just listening to a bit of mearl haggerd walking on the fighting side of me
Thereâs a sixth type. The âI donât listen to that crap on the radioâ independent/Texas country fan
hell yeah - tyler childers forever
I feel very attacked đ
I didnât even know they still had âradioâ. Seriously though, who would still be listening to radio?
Red Dirt snobs FTW.
@@CloroxBleach-cq7tj Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks and Colter Wall are my favorites
I'm admitidly the 90s country snob haha
Thats where its at folks. And 80s
80s and 90s!

Jack Skinner whats the name if the song when he grabs the speaker do u know
Bee Vie whats the song there
0:19 because half the damned country songs on the radio are about the beach and bonfires. Tell those six guys in Nashville to change the subject matter
The beach, bonfires, denim, beer, girls, and Jesus!

Don't blame Nashville, blame Music Row. A lot of the best country music still comes from Nashville as a whole.

Clint Black, Garth, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Daryle Singletary.....best decade for good music.

patrick miller You mean they listen to real country.

So many of these jokes about the Midwest you make so easily translate to life on the prairies in Canada
Ted Siddons : thatâs cuz Canada is the Midwest of the World! đ I say this with fondness - Iâm not a Canadian but am a big Canada fan - Corner Gas, Red Green, Mercer Report, Tragically Hip, Great Big Sea, Republic of Doyle, Murdoch, Nothing to Good for a Cowboy, the list goes on - and visited coast to coast many times. As I type this, I could really go for some All Seasoned Chips which you canât get in the states. âčïžđ Hereâs a recent 22 minutes clip your might that made me laugh - you donât have to be a 22 fan to like it. Cheers! đ

@@thealbanianlorg6542 don't forget trailer park boys and letterkenny
John Caines : yes - modern Canadian classics, both of them. trailer park havenât seen enough of to understand - that one escapes me a bit and letterkenney is too bro for me - but itâs Canadian bro, so itâs still better. I love the characters and the ridiculous language but they do all sound the same after a while. I do like it and I love Stewart. That man/boy and his friends can dance! đ - funny thing - I caught myself wondering not long ago, how the letterkenny community would be faring in this pandemic and theyâre not even real!

Closet fan was me đ moved from Oregon to Georgia and Iâm finally converted

TheBML2 The good stuff, like Bob Wills.
Ernest Tubb
Oh, you mean the ones who listen to real country.
I'm not a 90's country snob, I just prefer actual country music. đ€
J Fisch 90's country sucks. 40's to 80's and current stuff like Tyler Childers and colter wall
I agree
No new country and the reason 90s was so popular was because grunge sucked and people didn't want to listen to depressing music
DukeOfTennessee117 and reddirtâs great. Randy rogers, blackberry smoke, a thousand horses new album. Thats the good stuff.
DaNNyD0rit0 ain't a red dirt fan myself
I'm a die hard waylon fan but colter and childers are down right amazing
And the "i only listen to real country, like hank, haggard, and Jennings..."
That's not an incorrect statement

DukeOfTennessee117 ... Zach Bryan, Cody Jinks. Real music. Not the auto tune crap. Couldnât agree more.
Plenty of music that doesnât have auto tune. You wonât hear it on the radio though
DukeOfTennessee117 I love both of them
DukeOfTennessee117 and Zach bryan
DukeOfTennessee117 I hate all the stuff on the radio except Chris Stapleton because he is actually amazing

My favorites are Johnny Cash, John Denver and Granger Smith
I got a couple cassette tapes that came in my used boat of Johny cash I'll sell you.đ
I like that you are carrying a studio monitor around on your shoulder.
I was born in 1983 and in middle school I had a crush on a boy that listened to country music, so I of course started listening to it LOL. You Betcha is right, 90s country music was da bomb!

90's country is a life changer
Going from Oklahoma to NY and seeing all the dudes from the suburb act like theyâve been working on s ranch for 20 years after hearing s Florida Georgia line song always cracks me up
Another one would be a city boy that listens to country music đ
F-yeah. I'm the 90's country snob. . But Ashley Mcbryde is killing it now.
I am a weird version of the 90s snob where I think the 90s are the best era but I'll still listen to current stuff. I love people like Chris Stapleton, Buddy Brown, and Luke Combs

90's country fan all the wayđââïž I grew up on country, and listened up until about 2007 until it started changing. They used to tell stories, now all they sing about is a girl, a truck, a beer, or heartbreak. New country is beat. I said what I said.
Yes!
Sure, but all the best stories start with a girl, a truck, and a beerâŠ
Or that time with the truck in that farmers field with the âNO TRESPASSINGâ signâŠ
Or the creek at 2a- wait we donât talk about thatâŠ
Why yall proud of this as your personality đ€Ł God forbid music evolves
What about George, Merle, Conway, Waylon, Willie, Buck, Hank, and the list goes on...
Let me add the likes of Johnny, Ernest, Lefty, & Mel. This was real working man's country.
Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, Tammy Wynette, Kenny Rodgers, Elvis, Conway Twitty, Charley Pride
I love the videos my guy, totally brighten my day a lot. Really hope you get the traffic you deserve, much appreciation bud good luck!
70 degrees thatâs freezing!!! Here in Oklahoma Iâm wearing a sweat shirt and jeans when itâs 70 in the middle of winter
Thatâs warm in Ohio! Thatâs when we break out in our tank tops, and shorts! Heck when we have really cold winters, and then it hits forty, youâll see us outside wearing t shirts, but we donât do that when itâs summer leading to fall, just winter leading to spring. Our weather changes on a day to day basis.

I hear ya!!
Anthony Elwood 90's country sucks. 40's/80's then current stuff by Tyler Childers and colter wall
I love a lot of it too, and I was a teen in the 90s ..BUT hate the overkill, forgetting the crap - radio stations over-playing every noisy, annoying, album-filler song that Brooks n Dunn, Alan J. , Clint Black & George S. released ...ugghh ! And female singers whose voices were none too melodious & often sounded strained- Trisha, Shania, sometimes Faith & more. 80s & earlier even, had lotta great stuff ! Early 2000s had some great stuff !
New category: the George Straight Alan Jackson junkies
Hahahah 'tis I!
When he said âgotta get my summer mulletâ I knew he had included me đ€
The second and fourth one are WAY too accurate. I feel attacked... đđâđŒâ€ïž

2. Hank Williams
3. George Strait
4. Merle Haggard
5. Johnny Cash
Noah Dempsey Johnny Cash needs to be number 1.
@@joseesparza2364 My problem with Cash is a lot of his songs sound very similar. Seems he has 2 or 3 different base idead for song structure nonetheless he was a great singer and I love him. I could easily put him top 3 but I definitely prefer The Possum
No Waylon?

Y'all forgot the outlaw country fan. Seems like this just the hipster list. The 90s fan can fit onto it cause no matter who ya listen to everyone can agree on some Alan Jackson at least đ
The funny thing is GTA 5 actually got a ton of kids into Outlaw Country.
@@ColoradoStreaming where I'm from in PA it did the opposite put kids who grew up with that country made them prefer rap music over the other. Added tons of new music with their recent update none to the country stations though.
That better be Old Crow Medicine Show's OG version of Wagon Wheel.
On the contrary, it better be Darius Rucker's version because OCMS's version was awful XD
@@bananapudding5519 Darius Ruckers only good song was Let Her Cry when he was still Hootie
@@bananapudding5519 You're probably the lead singer of a Hootie and the Blowfish cover band called "Booty and the Gayfish".
Iâm not sure I get these references, but this conversation is interesting!
@@nathanvanderpool1175 Old Crow Medicine Show is a band that originally did the song that he's singing at the end of the video, Wagon Wheel. Darius Rucker is now a country singer that did a cover of that song (and it sucks) but he used to be the lead singer for a band called Hootie and the Blowfish

This guy is gold
"The doesnt like country but plays in a country band"
Country music makes my stomach turn every time I hear it.
Then u need to try the following : Do something rustic & rural for a few days, farm, camp, something, while avoiding TV or music not in keeping w the surroundings/vibe...keep it slower etc. . Then, while farming or camping or riding in an old pick-up truck that smells like baler twine, old grease, dust & hay, listen to "fishin in the dark", or "Amarillo by mornin" or " everything that glitters, is not gold". Then let me know if u at least understand us !
Anthony Barrett : sorry YOU BETCHA, but Anthony, you need to unsubscribe to this channel now. Or prove yourself worthy through the Feats of Strength! đđ (Seinfeld Festivus reference there). Oh wait, just read AJâs comment. Yes, far more common sense, humane response. I would also concur and suggest starting with Nitty Gritty Dirt Bandâs âFishing in the Darkâ and some Neal McCoy, Tanya Tucker, Jerry Reed, and Roger Miller. If there is a âclassicâ country channel you can access (70âs, 80âs, 90âs) and/or SiriusXm âWillieâs Playlistâ those are other options. Do what you can to still save your soul now. (And per AJ report back).
Iâm going to add this to your rehab: view the series of âBlue Collar Comedy Tourâ shows (Bill Engvall, Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy). And maybe even watch the classic comedy film âBait Shopâ starring Bill Engvall and, well, youâre not ready yet to appreciate the other star. đ
