Another awesome Manitowoc Minute Charlie! And a great big THANK YOU for the funds in eastern Iowa! When Iowa was hit by the Derecho, we know that our neighboring states are always there to give us a helping hand.
Well, yeah. We have to watch out for Iowa when the winds come because above the equator, north is downhill. So if we're not careful, Iowa could blow downhill right into MN.

I was in northwest Iowa a few days after the storm (nice 6-hour long drive from Madison) to photograph a virtual tour for a client there. I overheard someone at the HyVee talking about the amount of damage the storm caused to the farms of someone she knew. Thanks for stepping up with the fundraising. Based on what I heard, it will be very well used.

Hey Der Charlie, when I was a little wisco baby I took my first trip from the Fox Cities to the ol County Stadium (Still miss that place). During the game, Gorman Thomas hit a home run into the stands and above the section that me and my folks were seated. The crowd went nuts and little baby me slept through the whole event. It's one of my favorite stories of me being a little one. I'd love that bobblehead so much so I can share the story with my 6 year old who's a HUGE Charlie Berens fan.

I need the Gorman Thomas bobblehead because I teach in St. Charles, Mo - just outside St. Louis. The kids in my classroom need to see more stuff (like Packer & Badger) in my classroom to let them know about the Great State of Wisconsin. Plus it would go well with my Harvey Wallbangers T-shirt with the phrase "Gorman's Beer Bangers - He slugs em we chugs em" on the back of the shirt. This thing needs to be in my Biology classroom.
Fave new phrase: "ope let me squeeze right past ya".
