- Wireless Apple CarPlay in the all new Audi Q3! Here is the simple tutorial on how to set it up correctly! Wireless CarPlay requires either the Premium Plus trim with Navigation Pkg or the Prestige trim. Not available on the Premium trim!

Wireless carplay is a great feature that I can finally get rid of cables.
A little drawback is the nav app might be slightly inaccurate if the phone is on the wireless charging pad. The charging pad location could block the gps antenna.
On the other hand, iPhone 8 or older might be over heat while using nav app + music through wireless Carplay.
Great video. What are the dimensions of the phone box? Can iPhone 12 Pro max fit?
I assume the same instruction applies for android? Also, can you play music via Bluetooth and use carplay at the same time?
Is there a way that can I upgrade my MMI to 9660? I my Q3 is the 1395 with no Wireless support for CarPlay. Thanks.

APS10 PES unfortunately at this point there is not. No brand offers carplay In the gauge cluster just yet but in the future they might start allowing it. The only cars I know of with it is the 2018 and newer Audi R8 and Audi TT because they do not have a center screen 👍

If you have a Premium Plus Model with Navigation yes it should be wireless capable. Make sure your phones bluetooth and wifi are both on and also go into your phones bluetooth menu and click on the Audi, make sure the CarPlay slider is on! Hope this helps!
Does wireless CarPlay work on new Audi A1 aswell?
Unfortunately we do not have the a1 model in the USA so I am not sure. Please contact your local Audi dealership to find out!

No wireless android auto but I believe it’s something that will release in the future. For now you must use the USB wire

My wife has iphone and it can easily connect with interface but only for music and phone. There is no possibility to connect with Carplay. She bought cable and even after that we can''t connect with carplay. We tried what's in your video but there is no mention about CarPlay even once on the screen. Suprisingly I can connect my Android phone through cable. Also we have two USB-C ports in Audi Q3 Sportback. Any advice ?
Sorry you are facing this troubles. Are you in the USA ? If so something seems to definitely be up and I would have your sales person or a dealership technologist look into it. Some other countries do not offer carplay so if you are not in America please contact your dealership to confirm it’s availability.

@@michazak3324 kabel musi byc "data". Czyli trzeba patrzec na opisy. A bezprzewodowo nie dziala - mysle ze jak podjedzie do salonu to wyjasnia to.
