Nice job! The first evening hunt looks like a couple different bucks in the back raking trees...one even stands behind the tree with the camera on it, while the other buck is raking the tree to the far left! Between 07:10 and 07:30
Nice buck! Just a quick comment about Carolina deer hunting. I live in the Raleigh area but over the years have hunted a lot in South Carolina as my brother lives in Ft. Mill. Have hunted Lancaster and Kershaw counties and a bit just outside Chester. Always had good luck there but nothing very big. But every time I look in Carolina Sportsman magazine I see nice bucks coming from both North and South Carolina, and that at one time wasn't the case. I'm now seeing some very nice deer come out of SC. Makes me wonder what's different but certainly a nice trend.

Im considering moving to SC (from NY) I’ve heard poison snakes, spiders and ticks make hunting in sc really tough? How true do you feel that is and how often do you run into these pest? Thanks!
Hey!! We definitely have all of those you mentioned! However it's pretty rare that someone gets sick from an encounter with one of those. However if I was gonna be concerned with one of the 3 , it would be the tick and another dangerous creature is the mosquito!
Hi I’m 12 years old and I want to get in to hunting butt I have never went hunting and I live in a apartment so I don’t have a place to go hunting where do you think I can hunt in South Carolina
I think I would have passed on that deer for the simple fact buck fever would have set in and I wouldn't be able to hold the rifle steady at all. Good shooting but a 270 come on that is too small lol jk ive seen deer dropped with smaller calibers keep em coming
Baiting is illegal here in Perry county PA USA. Here you got a hunt going and I mean you got to either a hunt still hunt for those deer or sit in a tree stand hoping one comes by, we do allow deer drives which are fun to go on but other than that if you caught baiting here you will most surely play a hefty hefty fine. That's a nice deer nice size buck, but the women here in PA would say to you that's not hunting hun, that's a grandma sit down.
I've hunting in Pennsylvania twice in the Mount Morris area. Brought home two wall hangers. Pennsylvania hunting is to easy. Those bucks literally seen me and could care less. Hunting is hunting !! And thanks
