I had a 1948 Willys when I was a teenager back in 1969. Loved what you did! I always wanted to do something like that to mine. My dad sold it because he said it was too hard to find parts. At 71 yrs old, I still miss that truck!!
Fantastic job. Thanks for sharing the build with us.
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! You're appreciated.
I had a 55wagon and a 55 pick up,great on or off road rigs.
We have a 48 Willys Overland pick up ..My late dad bought it new...I rode in it for years....changed to 12 volt ...runs perfect......The Jeep Truck badge was painted red. That's a real nice restoration....The small back window.is cool.....
Thank you for watching. You're appreciated. Please subscribe.
I’ve owned a 1950 Willys truck for 25 years. It’s an on going project. I’ve restored it once and now I’m redoing the drivetrain and making it more highway friendly. I’m shooting for a hot rod muscle truck. Almost done again! Great video! I’ve followed the whole build you guys did.
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! You're appreciated.

I also have another 48 truck....someone installed a 265 ci chevy engine.....it's going to get attention shortly....body is solid....these are great trucks.....multi use.....
It's all about the memories. Keep them rolling. Thank you for watching.
Love it
Except the wiper motor that’s been added to the outside
Wish we could build stuff like that here in Australia and get it registered
Thanks for watching. Ron has owned the truck 25 years & it always had the wiper motor there. So we left it naking it his unique WILLYS. Appreciate your comments.
Very nice built. I own a 1964 that belonged to my dad. In my personal preference I would have kept the original drive train but it is a Restomod and what you have done doesn’t take away from the vehicle’s original feel and beauty. My only suggestion to the owner is get rid of the chrome wheels, use something not so blunt and add the white paint to the doors as on the original paint design scheme. It will add a very nice touch and will really look like a original Jeep but definitely more modern.
Great job!!!
🎉
Show very beautiful
Thank you for your comment.
Keep watching. So much more to see on our CZcams Channel.

My Dad had a '49. It would crawl back into the timber to get those elk he killed. Just the right size for that job.
Would like too but don’t know how to do this I’m from northern Ontario and enjoyed looking at the 49 restoration
Thanks for watching. Keep the wheels turning.
Nice work but you ought to install headrests in all vehicles.
Love it but Pa. The swaps that are wide with the tires outside of the body don't pass inspection.
What did it cost him to do all that? I just bought one last weekend! Doing a complete restoration of a cj2a and once thats done, I am starting on the OW truck.
It's several hundred of hours to bring these back to their glory. Plus the parts on top of it. If you go to our videos and look at the Dirty WILLYS, that's a second one we completed. Depending on how rough your truck is & what you would want to have completed. It's easy to say $75,000 up.
Thank you for watching our CZcams Channel.
@@LegendaryCustoms I appreciate your response! Great buld.

Thank you.
…well designed
great looking
do’nt understand tjough why you did’nt take the cherry wood structure out back all the way round behind the cab as well?
That’s a real shame and shortcoming
The rest?
BRILLIANT…‼️

We built it as requested. I believe it looks amazing as it is.
No parts of these vehicles are in their original state.
There are a lot of original parts, but you're correct, the majority of the WILLYS is custom.
How much was the cost 💲 to the pick up?
Every project is different. I don't post costs out of respect for my clients. We be are $125 an hour plus materials.
If you have a project, email us what you have.

The front axle is too wide and it looks funny that way
How much?
Love to have that baby.......Sweet.
It might be up for sale.....
You should of widened the front guards
Nice, but Tahoe drivetrain? No thanks.
I owned this this truck for 26 yrs before Ron bought it from me. I don't like Chris telling lies about this truck about it being a two wheel drive truck. It always was a four in wheel drive so Chris get your act together and tell the truth KEN.
Before you go off again, you're missing a very important part of the puzzle. Yes this started as a 4X4 & then the plan was to change it to two wheel drive with an independent front suspension. Then the plan was to changed to go back to a 4X4 because it's a WILLYS after all. So with that said, my act is together. Anyone who watched the build can see it was a 4X4 when we started the project. I believe you misunderstood a part of the puzzle that changed from beginning to the end. So settle down Ken. No one is lying. I'm quite certain Ron knew it was a 4X4 in the beginning also.
I have a1956 WILLYS OVER LAND truck and have done a lot of work and extended the bed longer to 8 ft and is in the process of being painted" RED" Just like yours, i will try to post pictures of it when finished, (from Santa Ana Calif.)
