Awesome Staffan! Keep going! I was bullied growing up as well. And it sucks. It was because people can be assholes and it takes a lot of skill to deal with them. I needed more support and love. I don't believe anyone is really "weird." The only really "weird" things are those that are harmful or hurtful to ourselves or others. XO
You make me feel less alone for being "weird" too!!! All I want to do is be happy and share to everyone how they can be happy too because I also went through really hard times and overcame them and now I just want to share the joy but I'm so sensitive and get scared that people will put me down or call me fake like they have before. I think it's because without knowing my story they think I'm just faking it, but I'm not... as a small kid i remember hearing my grandparents neighbours arguing, so I wrote a letter and posted it through their door telling them that they don't need to be sad they can be happy. I've felt life change so so much for myself but I've always felt so scared of people telling my I'm naive or something else but all i want to do is work with people to help them to feel better as I did. I wanted to do that when I first had a big "awakening" when I was 17, but thought people would say I'm too young. I even went and studied counselling at 17 with a class of other adults to learn how to help others. I'm 34 now and I still look so so young people think I'm in my early 20's and I just get afraid of people not taking me seriously because of that.
I have to shy away from being completely and intensely happy and giddy a lot of the time because some people find it too intense.
Maybe it's time to be 100000% myself and finally not care what others think and fully be me and share what I want to freely!!!!! Thanks for being yourself Steffan!!! You're a magical and happy spirit and you made me smile the entire time while I watched you!! I'm sure all your dreams will come true!!!
You are absolutely amazing and I admire your kindness. I have felt like I’ve forgotten to be kind and I have lost hope on my dreams and in myself. Yes Theory’s video and yours have changed my perspective on my life and everything I have been going through. There have been people who have told me I’m too positive and that has caused me to become insecure and sad and I’ve become like everyone else, but today I realized that being kind and positive is so much more better and that being strong is important. I've always found motivational speakers a bit gimmicky, like they say some good stuff but that they are doing it more for the money. You sound more authentic like you really do care about the person. It's probably because of watching you in an outside setting interacting with others with high energy. I hope you keep doing what you are doing and post some of you speeches on youtube. Good Luck!
