RIP Mr. Van Peebles. He was a talented man. I grew up in the 70's going to the show to see him and Pam Grier and Jim Brown, and all the others who brought black characters to life on screen. Those films left an indelible mark on me. That was a time that I can look back on fondly and always cherish.
