Cat Lila scared of the broom

Day 12: Lila is going through a phase of trying to trust me yet she feels she can't. She's been hissing at me, scratching me and tries to bite constantly. When that happens, I disengage. I know she's been through a lot, so she will need time. Here, I'm using the broom because I can't use the vacuum cleaner as it sends her in a spin directly back hiding behind the hot water tank.
