Well looking at the first file it was something of its time but if it was not for jaws we would not have films like jurassic park
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water Better stay on dry land & watch
A seriously underrated Jaws movie because as we all know sharks keep grudges and will travel thousands of miles to get even.
If I remember correctly, the original plan was Michael had upset a Voodoo Priest and the priest was using the shark to get revenge on Michael .
Yeah, even when they've been killed 3 times.
Naahhh bruhhh...in the original Jaws had dreads and played we jamming
The baby shark that I flushed down the toilet when I was a kid has been after me for years, and I live in Arizona.
@@TheNeuroticjetfan That's the plot in the novelization and somehow that makes it better in some ways.
Love how it just shows up in the ship. No explanation, no scene showing. Excellent

i shoulda looked deeper into the comments because you sum up my issue as well, but without writing a terribly long and drawn out paragraph that keeps rambling on
like im doing now
"I've not seen it; by all accounts it's terrible - but I've seen the house it built, and that's fantastic!"

I love Sir Michael Caine. Always have!
I ve not seen it by all accounts it's terrible but l ve seen the house it house it but and that s
@almiraraspado3599 Are you drunk?
Yeah he built his mom a house with that money. Fantastically put by him. He knew it was gonna be bad from the get go.
The idea of a shark chasing someone through a ship is interesting. This scene is probably the highlight of the this Jaws entry, not that it's saying much 😊
Didn't that happen in The Little Mermaid too?
@@brandonallen3808 No idea haven't seen it
@@brandonallen3808it did happen in the little mermaid indeed

Banana boat scene is great as well
I love how he appears to be swimming faster than the shark
I love how he appears to be switching faster than the shark
The way the shark swims through the wrecked ship:
“Excuse me, just squeezing through here” 😂😂
Only scene in the movie that makes it feel like a Jaws film.
I understand this movie “sucks” believe me however as a kid this is the one I constantly rewatched and this scene was my absolute favorite still terrifying and was just as enjoyable to watch just now 👏🏻👏🏻
Me too! This one was my favorite!
This was one of the scariest scenes of the movie.
Jaws The Revenge really wasn't that bad of a movie. Hopefully most people see the Shark impaled/ Jake dies ending rather than the Shark explodes/ Jake lives ending. That ending really determines peoples point of view of this movie in my opinion. The shark for the most part looked pretty good. The characters were developed very well, and the story, while farfetched was very entertaining.
The original script was the shark was hunting th Brody’s because they owed the mob money.
I love at 4:27 the shark's track, wiring, and tubes are on full display 😂
I never noticed that until you said it! 😱😅
And here, see it though the window? 1:35
thts nothing there's an uncropped version not meant to be seen where you can see everything the wires the sled inside the shark..
Indeed.it's so bad it's good or maybe not 😂
? Wtf are you saying?
It’s like watching a kid play pretend with a plastic shark in the bathtub 😂😂😂
still have my rubber great white from 1975, never give it up
I love all the Jaws movies, and as bad as the Revenge may be, I still liked it more than 3. Someday I hope they will release a Blu-ray that contains both versions of the film
Jaws: The Revenge is a awful film but it's more entertaining than Jaws 3-D, that film could put me to sleep!
The Revenge is so bad it's enjoyable!
Jaws 3 should have been remade, because you never really got to see the full length of the mechanical shark. When the shark attacked the tunnel with people inside, the shark didn't look real. The story line wasn't too bad for Jaws 3, but the majority of the shark scenes need to be redone with updated cgi effects, in my opinion.
I love all the Jaws movies and as bad as the Revenge may be l still like it more than 3
Both versions?
The Shark effects in this film pale in comparison to the other Jaws Films (even Jaws 3D). Even so, that scene of the Shark chasing Michael through the Ship Wreck is bloody terrifying!
Being stuck in a claustrophobic environment, unable to get a door open while a giant Shark swims towards you. That’s enough to get anyone’s heart pumping.
1:28 they just didn't care anymore.
Vengeance was about to to a barrel-roll haha! They stopped trying for sure!
Lmao
What do you mean?
@@0532MOETcause it looks so fake and bad they just stopped caring lmaooooo
I am surprised they didn't have the shark roar! as it was approaching 😂
The ending of this film would've been so much better if after the shark is killed by Ellen in the explosion, Michael Caine turned to her and said: "you were only supposed to blow the bloody Jaws off!!!"
This would be my luck if I went diving for the first time.
I remember when this was scary to me when I was 7 years old haha
This was my favorite Jaws film when I was a kid. 😂
Same guy from Halloween 2 who fainted and wasn't killed by Michael Myers.
That shot of the shark bursting through the wall but blocked by the ladder is even funnier when you play the Kool-Aid Man's jingle.
That’s a creepy sequence
Jaws jumped the shark, talk about a pun.
4:21 este momento es genial, espectacular trabajo de efectos especiales, nada de CGI.
the scene is very good
i remember being on holiday in barbados in 1987, and seeing an ad for this movie in a shopping mall. it’s been a few years since jaws3 and i remember really wanted to get back home and see this film. i did and was relatively happy…it did get a trifle silly at times when the film swerved to the bahamas, but the shark did look quite freaky at times!!! Sir Mr Caine wasn’t too happy with this movie.
This must be the most unrealistic scene in the whole franchise. A shark getting in a tiny ship with no space to turn around and having no idea where the exit is, following Michael all over as it literally sees him, and Michael making such a quick ascent to surface with absolutely no sequelae (remember Jaws 2). This movie is hilarious
Remember it wasn't a normal shark
Jaws the Revenge would have been so much better if Sean didn’t die, the stupid flashbacks didn’t happen and the Shark had a better defeat
Yeap the worst part of the movie is the ending, they could have thought of something better than that
Aren't there two different ways the shark gets killed?
The shark gets impaled, but the weight of the shark rips the front end of the boat off and causes it to fall apart, throwing everyone overboard. Then the shark sinks with the front of the boat still stuck in its side, and the screen fades to black. There is no mention of Jake when Ellen heads home.
The shark gets impaled, but then it explodes for some reason. Plus, there are some bad practical effects showing a model boat hitting a fake shark toy leading to the explosion, and then the underwater shot of the shark getting blown up from the first movie being shown, as well as it sinking, but hearing the heartbeat monitor still "blurbing" until it quits. Then everyone is in the water, and Jake surfaces alive but hurt. Ellen tells Michael to take care of Jake when she heads home.
I only saw the non shark explosion ending on TBS years ago (though some time after my parents taped it off super channel that had the explosion ending), and I thought something was different about the ending. I kind of liked that one better.
Best scene in the movie!
4:24 In my then still young life this scene was among my first notable "jumpscares" when that monster comes through the wall/hull...
Watching this from a divers perspective. Very entertaining, unrealistic as can be, but entertaining nonetheless.
I've always loved this movie! The concept of the shark following the family and specifically targeting them (even all the way to the warm waters of the Bahamas) is a great storyline. I love the characters and the way the story unfolded even if the shark looked fake at times. It's a satisfying end to the series for me.
This was my fave jaws movie everyone always says it's trash and wasn't good but I think it was the best😂
@@skate6223 FINALLY OTHER PEOPLE WHO THINK THIS MOVIE IS GREAT
@@camerongamingofficial I personally thought the Shark in the revenge lucked the best ik it looked like sand paper at times and sometimes you could see the wires but I think it looks the most scary
Yikes.
I prefer this movie over JAWS 3D in sea world, that movie was god awful my opinion, this movie was okay Nothing great but it's more entertaining than 3D
Not sure what is more horrific. The shark or Mario Van Peebles Caribbean accent
Sad that the little girl in this movie was murdered by her dad not much later after this movie
What happened?
that rubber shark is pure love
Wow, the whole time buddy on the deck is yelling "Michael" into his receiver...
this scene gives me nemo vibes.. when Bruce is chasing Nemo through the sub
I wonder if The Little Mermaid got the idea of the shark attack scene from this movie. Interesting to think about watching it back now.
The shark looked so awful in this film, but apart from that, there were actually a couple good scenes. And this may have been the best.
It didn't look like a shark and sometimes it looked like a dead shark floating in the water but it still looked scary and that's what matters
Jaws 4 the revenge isn't that bad. quite a good one to end on a high.
I agree with your opinion
Me too
I know its design is silly but atleast the sharks name (vengeance) is quite better but jaws is still a classic and its sequel i guess but i like it a bit ok don't judge me
Jaws 1 is excellent, Jaws 2 is pretty good and the other 2 are trash 🗑️
Wh.. What?? LOL!!!! How high were you when you watched this??
When people make fun of the Shark in Jaws, they’re making fun of this awful prop. Vengeance is definitely the ugliest shark from the whole series while the others look fantastic IMO
Seriously bruh
Not vengeance is the dumbest creature but the movie is dumb instead they made terrible mistakes in the credits because instead of being spelled california its spelled califorina and yes the shark from the jaws unleashed game is brucetta's mate and also 35 feet long but i like him because the shark is the only playable character and a titular protagonist
The one from Jaws 3 looked the worst!
Yep
Is the game canon
This movie is crap, but this scene is very scary and suspenseful, and left me on the edge of my seat the first time I saw it
That thing is scary
0:20 "big ocean"? Looks like a medium-sized water tank to me
This is a so bad it's good movie from the 80s, there were plenty of those back then. I liked the sound effect they did for the shark's heartbeat.
Since sharks can't swim backwards I wondered how he got out of the sunken boat.
Good Point.
Why pick on this for that reason and not on the shark backing out of the Orca wreckage after Brody throws the tank in its mouth? If it's bad in 1 film it's bad in the other!!!!
@Elaine Lethborg Hanging half way out and turning left or right is easier than being completely inside a boat.
Can’t forget jaws 3 😂
Shakes swim backwards. Remember when it swims backwards in Jaws 3 in the filtration pipe??? Lmfaooooo
Welcome to how to get the bends
Yeah,no way could he surface that quick without it being fatal, even when snorkeling you have to go back to the surface slowly if you're to deep.
An easy way to die from the bends
Exactly what I was thinking. Haha. No safety stop?
Was literally just thinking that too
It's a shame that the effects mistakes and story were not improved just a little... and this would of been an good film.
I still think it's better than most of Jaws 3D though.
*JAWS: THE REVENGE* often gets a lot of backlash from haters, but this film is far from being a bad movie. Haters can hate all they want, but if they think they can convince me to hate this movie, they will be seriously disappointed. I will never hate Jaws: The Revenge...not even if my life depended on it! Sure, it's not as good as the first two *JAWS* films and never will be, but it's good enough for me.
Same, I still think this is a bad sequel but I enjoy it alot, much more than the God-awful Jaws 3-D
I enjoy all of them, even the 3rd. This definitely is a good sequel when you think about it. Sharks don’t take things personally. Well, this one did. Sharks don’t have vocal cords. This one did. Sharks can’t live in warm water like in the Bahamas. This one could. The flashbacks, and senses Ellen has. It’s like she’s psychic.
4:27, I don’t know much about scuba diving, but isn’t it really unsafe to resurface that fast? Not sure how deep he was before he opened the tank, but it looks about 150 to 200 feet
yeah.. it's called the bends. not sure how deep you have to start from to get it.
I really like this film 🎥 🤪
I guess the only thing that got me that was the shark was only after their family. A bit of a reach. Jaws should have stopped at 3. However I still got a kick out of it anyways lol 🙄😂
You mean to tell me that somehow that big shark got into a ship and was able to swim around. Also there are shots you can even see the machine holding the shark
The problem with this movie is that only two people actually diel
I thought the chase scene was pretty good

@@almiraraspado3599 same, better than jaws 3
The bend is not even a consideration for this scene, or this entire movie. This was The Meg part 1 and we never knew it growing up.
jaws the paper shark the revenge...
Jaws the Revenge the most disappointing film ever made to end a Jaws trilogy.
This scene was in the original plot of jaws 3D written by Richard Matheson and is the only part of jaws the revenge kind of interesting.
Crappy movie but this part always kept my attention 👀
The rubber chicken of Jaws sharks
When u 1st c the shark n it shifts 🤦🏻♂️ 🤦🏻♂️ 🤖 can’t believe I bought that watching as a kid
Just think about how bad the suuff that hit the cutting room floor must have been.
That was too close! I hate sharks killing people!
Notice how the shark’s teeth changes between scenes.
JAWS CHASES TROUGH HIM A SHIPWRECK JAWS: THE REVENGE (1987)
what kids think will happen if they go into 2 feet deep water
3:51
This scene was good. Shame that the movie sucks bad
Looks better than Meg 2
this was my first jaws movie i ever saw so im a biased about how bad it really is (everything in my childhood sucked and was the worst thing ever according to everyone online LOL)
but this chase sequence makes no sense whatsoever. the continuity and flow with Vengeance chasing him and inside the sunken ship is just terrible.
id love to see storyboards and notes from 2.49 until Michael's "ascension to the surface" on exactly how Vengeance fit in some of those corridors. or how Michael changing course and "climbing" or "descending" from one floor to the next and how Vengeance keeps up with him like its rubber banding in Mario Kart
like @2.59 when Michael is inside the "shipwreck" and it cuts back to Vengeance and i get the impression im looking at him from the ocean floor up because of the lighting and it doesnt appear he is inside the ship w/ Michael at all. those corridors are WAY too tight for that BFS to swim through. and then HE DOES JUST THAT!? how and where did he get from outside the vessel to keeping up w/ the Brody Man here?
were there a lot of scenes dropped or cut altogether that would make this make sense and connect the story from one cut to the next?
or maybe its just me... ?
i have the same problem connecting the last few shots/ scenes in Tales from the Crypt's "House of Horror" 's ending.
and no im not spoiling that but it cuts and jumps back and forth so terribly its just me watching and yelling at the CHARACTER
WHY DIDNT YOU JUST HAUL A$$ OUT OF THERE JA¢K ASTOR!?
or at least make an ATTEMPT
regardless of how much you love or hate this entry and its story gets, the soundtrack was / is great.
again biased
You can see the complete wiring of the shark twice during this scene. First at 1:35, second at 4:28.
Decompression probably means nothing to the director
Pause at exactly 4:27 take a closer look at the body of the shark. Lol
they forgot to show all the animatronic parts from the shark
which is alot funnier in my opinion
Yo at 4:25 you can see the wires when it's breaking through the wall 😅
That dude knew the Jaws theme?
Sharks don't not move on the ground of anything. Logical error.
Insane how in the editing room they didn’t see the wires and mechanical components attached to the shark in the scenes
That actually wasn’t that bad.
The only life threatening thing in this video was his rapid ascension to the surface.
I like part 4 except for when Shawn dies. I can't watch that scene.
They have been injured by a rubber or a, they are highly intelligent and remember.
I think the shark in this film looks ok but you see far too much of it which is a issue all the jaws sequels suffer from
Als der hai durch die wand kommt, hat er eine Zunge?
Vengeance wants revenge on Brody family for the death of his father Bruce, his mother Brucette, his daughter Brucetta and his grandson Baby shark
😂😂
😆😆
Troy you have a point but why are you connecting brucetta and baby shark in this second timeline 🤨
I thought that the shark in Jaws 1 was the father, Jaws 2 was the son, Jaws 3 is the mother and Jaws 4 is the second child of Jaws 1 and Jaws 3
This movie isn't about the shark's revenge on anyone! It's about Ellen's revenge on the shark after Sean's demise. In her grief Ellen starts to imagine that the shark is after her family!!!!
How was he not hurt?
Great jaws movie, part 3 is terrible
4:30 wouldn't he die of decompression if he ascends so fast to the surface? Is there someone who can explain??
Probably he don’t die but he still needs to spend time in pressures chamber and breathe more oxygen from tank to reduce nitrogen in his bloodstream. Besides while ascending too fast it is important to exhale rapidly. Unless he breathe in much air during fast ascending he is gonna be safe😊
Yes atacen
Why does this film exist?
Jaws is the name of the movie, not the shark.
WHY(THAT IS ALL)?????
I thought this movie was good !n
Michael was a fool
Yeah Jake knock it off with that annoying sound or the shark will come and eat you!!
In all the shark models for Jaws they never get the nose shape right! Just Google image search.
😱😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Move to nebraska, problem solved
OK the shark swims into the boat and yet it figured out how to turn around when it was barely able to swim down the hallway. Total BS plus sharks are not going to swim into a confined space that they are going to be trapped
Le moins bon de la série mais divertissant quand même
They should have just used stock footage when the shark is in open water and used the prop only for the attack scenes. They seemed a little too proud of their prop shark. Based on this scene alone, this is closer to real looking than all the other Jaws sharks but is far from actually real looking.
