The set includes 3 pieces, a plate, mug and a bowl. How to throw them and how to decorate them using stencils and slip, followed by trimming and firing. Includes a subscribers shout out for Freddie Moretti pottery.
Awesome little sets! Your smaller kiln comes in handy for "wee" batches, aye. I see you and Rocky have become friends. He'll be bringing his tribe before long... Right! "Go Freddie!" He is a wonderful example of human kindness. Thanks! I always enjoy your videos.
Thanks a lot for all your praise. Freddie seems like a great person, may be we will meet one day, when all this crazy Covid is over. Rocky has brought others on occasion but we are close to the road and one has been hit already. They have lots of cover under the studio so hopefully they will stay there.
Thanks, Freddie needs no help from me, he has a very nice setup and has videos on CZcams too. I think his space will motivate a lot of new potters to set up in their own basements or garages.
Sweet little sets! Kids learn to enjoy using "real" pieces if given the chance. So glad you kitty is doing well, and I'm sure Rocky enjoyed his cookie!
Lovely children’s set! So good to see Poubelle ruling her studio 😉 and your new tenant Mr. Rocky Raccoon 😄 Thank you for sharing your skill & warmth 💙🙏🏼
Those are so stinking cute!! I made my granddaughters little mugs and they drink coffee milk out of them in the mornings.. They think they are grown since they using a pottery mug.
Really bad? Rocky doesn't think so...what flavour was the cookie? Really nice set for the children or for we wee folk who should be eating less. Thanks for the shout out Vaughan, feels very special being in one of your videos and I look forward to seeing other subscribers. Cheers...Freddie
How lovely Vaughan, I remember my Beatrix potter set as a child, a long time ago 😆 I have just ordered a large harp, so I can hopefully make some plates. Thank you so much for all your advice 😍
@@Vsmithpots I found the harp for sale with PotteryCrafts UK And my bike is a Triumph Thruxton 1200cc… I had a mid life crisis and decided to get my bike test with my son and have been riding now for six years. Have you Vaughan got a bike ?
@@melrussell7830 My bike years were in the UK 79-85. I am envious of a Triumph, I tried a BSA Thunderbolt once, owned by a friend. I still have the memories but broke too many bones as a won't happen to me student, going to live forever. I bought my harps there in the 1980's, they last forever. So stay safe on that monster.
@@Vsmithpots I’m quite a slow rider, it’s just lovely to have that power when it’s safe 😊 That’s amazing that Potterycrafts has been going that long… I’m looking forward to your next exciting video😍
Hi Linda, You need one of the harps I use, as shown in my videos. I think they are sold in the States. I have seen one sold with a pugmill to cut off the clay logs as they are extruded. I will show it in my next video.
What a sweet idea. I get so excited when I see you’ve made a new video to share. I very much enjoyed seeing the process all the way through. Happy Holidays! Do you celebrate Thanksgiving since you lived in the States for so many years? ☕️😊
Yes we had two thanks giving dinners, Canadian and American, six weeks apart. There are a lot of Americans living in this area. Thanks for liking the videos.
Hi Vaughan, i forgot what clay you said you use for your oven ware. Was in psh 80? I use tuckers clay at the moment. Do you prefer one over the other? Thanks Heather from New Brunswick

Thank you William.
Vaughn, that was so nice of you to support another potter..

These are such sweet sets, nice to see your animals are all thriving.
I was hoping to have fox too. We had a set of fox kittens just down the road but they all moved away.

Lovely Vaughan, I really enjoy making little tea sets
Thanks, I am still waiting to hear some young adult say they grew up eating off my set.

Thanks, those sets will be remembered when they are adults buying hand made pottery from future generations. That is called playing the long game.

Thanks Freddie. Only oatmeal raisin for Rocky. Lots of bird seed too, or she would empty the feeders.
Loved seeing so much Poubelle! Glad she's doing better. :)
Poubelle is stealing all the limelight and loving it.

Hi Mel, where did you find the harp? A lot of people are asking about them. What kind of motorcycle do you have?

@@melrussell7830 Yes, but for me it is now a GMC Sierra 2500, sitting high and dry. Fortunately no traffic jams in Nova Scotia.
Vaughan, I struggle to get plates off the batt. Would you please give some tips on that sometime? Thank you. Also, appreciate all your instructions.

That’s wonderful! @@Vsmithpots are there any traditional Canadian dishes you enjoy that we don’t typically include in a traditional US Thanksgiving?
@@nataliewalker3095 Pretty much the same dishes.
Could you use glaze instead of slip? These are so wonderful! Thanks for showing your technique. I have to try it!
I guess if your glaze can take the clay shrinkage. Glaze usually does not shrink in drying.
So sweet these sets. Vaughan what d💋o you use to sign your pieces? Could I use a permanent marker before the firing? No question Is to silly right. 😹
Use black underglaze to sign. you can also buy an underglaze pencil but I use the liquid underglaze.
