"...at nightfall the spice harvesters land, the outsiders race against time to avoid the heat of the day..." So, how can spice harvesters operate at night if the spotters cannot see any approaching wormsign? Also, later in the film we see a harvester operating in the heat of the day. They don't harvest at night or race to avoid the heat. They harvest in the day and race against worm attack. As it is written.

The shots of the intro are literally book arts into life
or is just me ???
Plus i love how the sound of the drum is literally a thumper starting slow as the normal ones and fast with tension when the Fremen attack
And for the last the original deleted intro is Duncan Idaho reaching the dessert in a ship
Good they put this
