You should have skim coated and painted your CR walls and ceiling before laying your tiles.
I’m using that mondo skim coat myself now. The rooms are coming along great, soon be finished 👍👍

I have watched many youtubers building homes in PH and one common thing I always see is they put the flooring down way to early. Some times even before the windows, ceiling and skim coat. Then after each stage they have to clean the mess they make. IMO the flooring should be the last thing to go down with exception of the cabinetry. Just seems like they create more work for themselves.
Yes I’ve noticed this too.. they need to start planning properly.. I think they do this to create extra working days for themselves

You can’t really blame them in a way.. labor cost over there is garbage.. they could hardly survive on those wages
@@stephendemille5424 yeah that could be some of it, it could also just be lack of understanding or skill. For instance have you seen how soupy they make their concrete over there? They do it because it makes it easier to work with but they don't realize how weak it makes the concrete.
@@chrisluellen yes I do agree with you, I think the guys there have the skill but just lack the understanding of the proper technique… and it’s also lack of tools, per example when they do the skim coat they use a very small drywall knife, which takes forever to do and with the painting they use the smallest roller brush it’s just not productive.. and they do a lot of work with out proper planning which leads to a lot of correction work in the future….like they would plaster a wall only to realize that they need to run a water pipe or electrical, and then have to cut the wall and plaster over…. N that’s why things take forever to complete over there

Its done for now just doing furnishings and getting it set up!! At a later date we will finish the bottom. Plus we went on a very long vacation back to the states
