I really wish iRacing had a way of doing BoP with their cars more often than the start of every season. Like I'm sure that the gt3s all kinda balance out over the course of a season but it's still so annoying when top split just looks like pcup or ferrari challenge.
Title couldn't be any more true. Don't drive the meta for the sake of it, just enjoy the car you want to drive and pick it
I love to drive the lotus 79 but no one drives it which is why ppl race the meta because ppl dont race in all the series and i blame iracing for that.
I have avoided GT3 and GT4 for that exact reason. Hate unbalanced BOP, hate meta trends. I just race the Porsche Cup when I want to drive a GT.

You get a like for always making honest, amazing content. I’ve returned to iRacing properly after 3 & a half years out apart from the every now & then racing. Ferrari for me honestly though as it’s a car I’ve quickly adjusted to and feels very well balanced

Nice, the polesetter "Felix Quirmbach" is a pretty cool.dude! I raced with him years ago via a League founded and managed by "virtual racing".
He was f-ing fast in this days and not many could keep up with him. Glad he is still racing😊 havent seen/heard his name for ages but i also been trough a lot the last 12-18 months and just been able to watch Sim-Racing on youtube again. Hope it gets better and i will be able to race again myself😢

Got this in my recommended the day after an ACC league race where there was 22 drivers, 10 720s and 10 296s. Only another guy was in a 992 and I was in a Huracan lol

Liked, I begun having stuttering sudendly, just formated my pc and lowered settings and reduced it 95%. Seems to be iracing problem because while I have stutter my pc runs fine other applications. Gl with that
By carefully looking at the carnage, Alex who was shouting all the time was the guy in the black and green Porsche who got it on the superb rejoin and it again twice after that by Kinder #5...I would have swear too I think! XD
And looking at #5 profile he seems to have a lot of incedents every race. God knows how he got his SR and IR so high lol

First of all. Love you Dave for the humour you have..... I do not understand why people just pick one car and that´s it, because they are thinking: This is the best one. Dave proofs otherwise. A Merc, a Porsche etc. It depends on the driver who is the one racing good or bad. Dave just showed in this video that another car can do a difference within a field of horses..... Great video Dave.... Thank you :)
My best lap with Audi R8 GT3 equals my worst lap in Ferrari… I know both cars inside out…Explains it all…

When I race GT3's It's an Audi for me. I know it's a bit down on power coming off the corners compared to a few of the other cars, but I really like the way the car handles. The lack of low-end torque pretty much eliminates the rear end jumping out from under you, like some of the other cars do. Which allows me to pass said cars as they spin out. 😃
I just might have to rescind my like for all of those off tracks Dave ;)

Most of the guys are switching cars like their underwear just because the Ferrari is probably 0.00001 faster. It's all about having fun and you had fun with the merc. Great drive Dave!
But part of having fun is competitive racing no ? So yeah car matters but I drive Audi R8 GT3 24/7
I haven't driven the AMG this week yet, but the Ferrari is quite a handful around Interlagos as well. Even when I'm on the top of my game every lap is intense there no matter what car I'm driving.

Is it possible to do a test drive in iRacing before buying the cars or do we have to buy first?
