The first two Ask Zajef's both include a question or idea in their titles, which intrigues people to view the videos. I feel like a new frog seeing Ask Zajef [X Character] in their recommended wouldn't mean much since they would already have to know who Zajef77 is in the first place, and that he is a good source of information. For example, in the Venti Ask Zajef, the most commonly asked question by far is Venti vs Kazuha, and having that question in the title would've attracted more new viewers who haven't seen your content before, but want to know the answer, with the hope that they would stay after watching a very informative video. I believe that one of the reasons the first two Ask Zajef's both performed really well without relying on leaks tc is because they have very interesting questions or ideas presented in the title. The thumbnails already have Ask Zajef in them, so the title being the exact same as the text in the thumbnail seems redundant. I still think having Ask Zajef in the title is fine, but it should be accompanied by an idea or common question. About Mona's hydro application, if you use q then e (in this exact order) then swap to ayaka, her e's hydro is usually enought to permafreeze enemies throughout or almost throughout the entirity of Ayaka's q, and it usually doesn't really matter if you can't permafreeze things out of her q. So yeah. If you have kokomi use kokomi, if you don't - don't sweat about it.
@@xem2476 In Ayaka teams, you don't use NAs that often to proc Xingqiu's burst, so Mona might actually be better for freese uptime. Plus, Xingqiu might be more valuable for your other team.
In fact. All you need is barbara ttds, kaeya fav sword noblesse, traveler vv. While yes, you can upgrade those units for more quality of life and damage, she can function perfectly fine with those units. For example. Ganyu freeze needs mona or kokomi, venti or kazu. Diona. Hutao badly needs xq, Raiden needs benny.

Ideally we'd get some changes to characters that have like 0 value on-field, like Xinqiu (Ignoring Bennett Q application), maybe he also shares a lesser amount of swords per wave with every char in the team, same treatment for shields etc. All the C6 Childe owners gonna be happy if this happens, Ganyu's sustain could be ridiculous, and I have high hopes for Sucrose's swirls and Jean's role consolidation (Even holding E is lower opportunity cost), the combos would just get so wacky, duos could be really fun too.
About her C6, I don't think it's the "damage per screenshot" clickbait type of constellation. In fact, it's actually a pretty good constellation since in combat it allows her to quickly burst down her enemies without using her burst (Basically just like ganyu's C6), it would allow her to save her burst for something else. Also, it fixes her daily uses issue where she doesn't do as much dmg without her burst, but her burst is too much of a waste on overworld enemies. So the constellation itself is not bad, it's just not worth being a C6 as it doesn't provide as much value compare to other C6.
thank youuuuu for mentioning how easy ayaka works out of the box. you can run kaeya, anemo mc, and barbara and it still works because ayaka is melee which works with kaeyas Q and barbaras E. and anemo mc's skill is surprisingly nice to use because it pulls enemies but wont shatter like with kazus plunge. its hard to use anemo mc's burst shred to take into account for but its there ig. barbara surprisingly gives me enough utility with ttds and hydro aura that i dont have to think about casting (like using monas E, also i only learned today that the ttds buff effectively has a 10s CD, so my burst will ALWAYS be buffed at each cast) i love using ayaka/chongyun/kazu/barb when im not using childe international+kazu in the 2nd team. chongyun is an underrated ayaka support. ayakas atks are faster, and my skill has 8.5s CD while my burst has around 17s CD. a small buff but a welcome one
I had already made my mind on Ayaka but it's always a good thing to have Zajef reasuring me, these past two abyss without any "meta" freeze team made me reconsider Ayato, Childe is good enough as a Hydro dps for me so I hope I win a 50/50 for once and get done with one of the two things my acc is missing.

I dont think mona has as much problem with hydro uptime as a lot of people say, her q +e is always enough for freezing enemy during ayaka burst and thats really just the only time you really need to freeze enemies with ayaka since you will be batterying her after the burst anyways.
Keeping enemies frozen prevents them from scattering, which means they'll still be grouped for your next burst. It's not really necessary if you clear in one rotation, but it's really nice to have if you don't

I cleared this Abyss rotation with C1 Kaeya and C2 Rosaria on the 2nd half (I don't have Ganyu or Ayaka), can confirm Kaeya's balls can carry freeze teams.
About the standard Ayaka team, Diona, Ayaka, Mona, Anemo Yep freeze uptime is definitely a problem and even more if you have Mistsplitter because to gain stacks you need to do some stuff before bursting. I used to play this team but now that I have got Kokomi, I have benched mona for good. I play Rosaria, Sucrose, Kokomi and Ayaka. Feels such a massive upgrade in terms of ease and damage because Rosaria damage compensates for lack of Mona omen buff, while Kokomi TTDS and TOM is also a reliable 68% atk buff. Also both Rosaria and Kokomi is much more fun to play than Diona Mona team because they take considerably less field time and permafreeze go brr.
Can relate. The rotation feels so much smoother because of that, really like the rosaria+kokomi combo, but its funny the numbers ayaka can reach with mona. Her burst from 20k per hit goes to 28k
Each 5 star artifact has either 8 or 9 substat rolls depending on how it started, so through the 5 pieces you'll have between 40 and 45 total substats. Some of those substat rolls won't help increase your damage, this depends on the character but for Ayaka think DEF%, DEF, HP%, HP and EM. So the 25 substats would be distributed between CR, CD, ATK%, ATK and ER. 40 substats is almost unrealistic as you are at the mercy of RNG; 40 perfect offensive substats would be 40 substats distributed into the configuration that produces the highest outcome, I believe this is usually calculated through solvers since each increase in a substat changes the percentage increase of all the other substats making it hard to calculate manually. This is just a more accurate way of describing artifact quality than the common alternative; CV. 25 substats is a decent amount of investment that Zajef therefore considers a decently built character.
1 substat = 1 roll of substat that you want. That is the common baseline. What differs are person: which stat counts as a substat to be counted. Some only count crits, some count atk, some count even EM, depending on what is an "effective stat" So for some ppl, they would count every roll of hp% and EM as a substat roll for Hutao, but some won't, depending on who you talk to. Problem: not all substats are valued the same. The conversion from er% or atk% to crit équivalent is also not objectively clear, which is why which stats count as 1 substat is subjective. But 1 roll on a "desired" substat = "1 substat" stays the same
@@athelo19 25 substats is an extremely well-built character. From KQM GOUBA Project it was possible to notice that the average characters investment of the people who answered the questionnaire is 20 substats. Even with a few whales responses the average was still close to this.
My jade cutter build is actually better than my mistsplitter build. After running genshin optimizer, my best artifact set for her is noblesse + 2pc blizzard strayer. sure missing 40% cr is a thing but the additional +20% burst from noblesse actually allows me to out do it. 25000dpT on ult with pjc. 24500 with mist + 4 set blizzard. Make sure you guys run genshin optimizer before farming and pulling
@@Zajef77 yup. And enabled all teambuffs and artifact set conditionals before looking. Teambuffs being Mona + kazuha + diona. 40% CR as a conditional is nice, but the value of cr diminishes quite rapidly in cryo comps. If you're running rosaria, that's +30CR from nothing. Question is, how does 40% cr compare to +20% burst damage. Especially given that I can hit 100% cr on both builds. CD with my pjc is 230 and 270 with mist which is only 17% more damage through CD increase ON A CONDITIONAL. Since ayakas kit is so burst reliant AND almost everyone has cracked noblesse pieces this is honestly pretty good. I've spent over 2000 resin on Blizzard strayer and it's still straight up worse which makes me kinda salty ngl
luckyly i got 3 ayaka copies back to back in like 80 pulls. She is my first exclusive 5 star, and my favourite. I got her weapon in last banner, and now only thing left is to get shenhe and she will be top tier
Coping with PJC on Ayaka since I lost to Lego claymore Lmfao. My artifacts only rolled 6.2% crit rate which makes me feel a bit better. Didn’t know PJC would still be able to be pretty decent. 55/237 crit ratio once I get her to 90

You’ve mentioned that getting a Cryo DPS can have value over a Pyro DPS due to being able to use Freeze, but as someone already with Ganyu Freeze, is there any reason to get Ayaka for 2 Freeze teams (are there any situations where 2 Freeze teams would be ideal)? If getting Ayaka for Ganyu + Ayaka teams was worth, who’d be the one mainly on field? C1 Ganyu or C0 Ayaka (both with 4* weapons)? If not worth having both Ayaka and Ganyu, could you also expand upon the Rosaria vs Kaeya debate? You’ve already mentioned how Kaeya is better at generating more Energy, while Rosaria is better at providing more Crit Rate, but are there any other important factors to discuss within their comparisons? Like for example access to Constellations that might impact their effectiveness? (Btw are Kaeya constellations worth buying in the shop, assuming extra glitter goes into more pulls instead, or is C6 Rosaria more than sufficient?)
@Mike I had the same debate for some time now and here's my point of view: The situation where u would consider bringing a Freeze team is that, enemies can be crowd-controlled or have a time window where they would sit and take dmg in an Area of Effect (ideally, they can be frozen) and the enemies are not Cryo-immuned since it will take a lot longer to kill them compared to a National team. This Abyss rotation allows players to run 2 Freeze teams on both sides, which would be ideal to have Ganyu + Rosaria on 1 side and Ayaka + Kaeya on the other. However, despite the comfort of having Ganyu AND Ayaka's teams built up, I find it not as necessary since we can use another team instead of one Freeze team, e.g Taser or National team. In my own opinion, "having Ganyu AND Ayaka's teams built up for each side" would ONLY be needed in situations where we have to deal with many Hydro shields on BOTH sides, like many Hydro Abyss mages and Heralds. But in this situation, we can get away with reverse melt quickswap on 1 side and a Freeze team on the other; so only Ganyu, Kaeya, Rosaria and perhaps Diona or Chongyun are enough. Regarding Rosaria and Kaeya: both of them works with each other or with Ganyu or Ayaka very well, their utilities have been mentioned in the video and on your comment. I would like to add that, for Ganyu Freeze team, I would recommend using Rosaria with a Favonius Lance (the higher the refinement, the better) because she offers the mobility for you to re-position yourself easier than other Cryo supports; and Mona on TTDS or prototype Amber (although she's not guaranteed for any player), I find prototype Amber useful on her just because "getting her burst back is crucial", plus healing the whole team every 15s is quite comfortable, but not everyone needs it over TTDS. I do have a footage of me using "CN Morgana" on my channel so u can watch that to see how Rosaria fixs the original Morgana team's mobility issue. Kaeya's constellations are nice but harder to get (requires u to spend starglitter or get lucky in standard banner), while Rosaria's constellations are easier to get but never guaranteed (she's on every banner, whether rated up or not). My recommendation is, use them at any constellation u have, DO NOT feel force to get their constellations unless u like them a lot AND it's a game changing one from what u currently have (from C5 Kaeya to C6 Kaeya).
You actually can melt with C2 every MAIN burst tick with ayaka right? So C2 could be seen as a enabler for her to use on diferent teams (or more like making her a "more viable" option for melts)

Which team will deal more damage? Ayaka and kazuha with mona and diona or with rosaria and kokomi? Just curious cuz there was a vid that i saw that ayaka's q (Mistsplitter and BS) with mona(ttds &NO) can deal 25k/hit. On the other hand, with kokomi (ttds, TotM), she deals 20k/hit. If kazuha is added here does it reach a point where the omen buff with ayaka's q deal equal or even less damage than a team with kokomi (ttds totm) and rosaria (NO /2NO 2BS). And how about in f2p terms with ayaka amenoma and kazuha iron sting/fav sword. How about if diona uses (totm) etc.
It can be very difficult for Mona to get her burst back every rotation when running her on TTDS rather than favonius. Even then, Rosaria's damage isn't negligible and you'll generally perform better with Kokomi/Rosaria, but as I talk about in the video, Mona buffing your burst can help you 1-rotation enemies in some situations, so it depends!
It depends on your sub stats roll. If your 4 Blizzard has a lot of crit rate roll, then perhaps 2 Blizzard + 2 other things could be the optimal option. But for the sake of simplicity, just use Genshin Optimizer.
Everything depends on your substat, again substat > set bonus, but I notice most of my friend that isn't running 4pc blizzard ayaka build her 2pc blizzard+nobless.
Why not just run 2 piece blizzard/gladiator/noblesse over four piece blizzard with jade cutter? Most people probably have better gladiador/noblesse stats than four blizzard, so you don't overcap in crit rate and get a nice 2 piece bonus.
Very informative as usual! Im vurious about one thing tho, if i only have jade cutter, how worth is it using BS/NO or even 4 EOSF instead of 4BS? Because PJC is already basically 4BS
Use the optimizer to find out what is best for you. However you will generally not actively farm NO and at most passively get some pieces via Mystic Offering so it is harder to put together a good set that uses it.
I hate to say, Can't Frozen enemies like Boss or Karaigi when the one is dead not able situation kill them turn fast attack definitely lose 20% Crit rate Blizzard Strayer 4 pieces set. I tried, just can't do versatile Big damage Boss.
In freeze, is there an instance where both elements coexist like they do in electrocharge? Or does cryo consume all hydro when freeze is triggered? I just got ayaka and my best freeze team currently is kokomi, rosaria and sucrose. If i put sucrose on ttds and kokomi on prototype amber, what's the rotation to swirl cryo and make sure ayaka gets ttds?

C0 + R1 Mistsplitter before considering C2+, bc Mist is a less conditional boost for her entire kit and maximizes Shenhe’s quills if you have her or wish to in the future.
If you have SPARE primo, Mistsplitter is a really good pull over even her C2 imo since it's a good general weapon which almost every sword user can appreciate
It really depends. Venti's burst infusion can be really important to get right, since it restores energy, whereas Kazuha's burst infusion doesn't really matter, since he buffs teammates based on swirl rather than infusion, and you'll likely swirl both elements anyways. Generally, I like infusing Hydro more, but it'll depend on your teams!
(I accept answers from anyone, if anyone is willing to discuss this with me) Yo, I got rly lucky back in the day, so I have ayaka at c1 from the same 10 pull, should I roll for c2, mistsplitter, or save for yelan? From what I see of her constellations, all of them kinda suck except for c3 and c4, but c2 is the only one I'm doubtful of, I don't know how reliable the extra ults are in practice My idea with yelan would be to snapshot her buff in ayakas ult, I don't have xingqiu cons so I think it wouldn't make a difference in hydro application(I don't know the details for yelan, from what I heard is the same as xingqiu without cons) Ayaka currently has a blackcliff sword, but mistsplitter is mistsplitter. New weapon banner sucks and I don't want another claymore, got like, 2 of them and my claymore users already have their respective weapons(sardine for beidou, broken pines for eula) The only thing I'm guaranteed rn is a weapon within next 20 pulls, haven't pulled for characters since getting Raiden, will have to 50/50 whatever comes next
I'd say it mostly depends on your current characters. Are you using Xingqiu with your Ayaka? If so, would your second team benefit from having him if you replaced him with Yelan? If your other team doesn't need him, I don't think Yelan will be enough of an upgrade to be worth getting. Though if you just really like her too, she definitely seems to be a pretty valuable pull in case you end up needing another hydro in the future. I think once you answer those questions for yourself, you can move on to either Ayaka constellations or Mistsplitter, if you choose to skip Yelan. That's a question which will get you a different answer depending on who you ask, but personally I could never recommend wishing on a weapon banner that has one weapon you simply do not want. I don't personally have Ayaka's C2, but from what I know, its damage increase mostly depends on the enemies' hitbox/position and can vary quite a bit because of it, but it is pretty significant when it does hit properly. On the other hand, Mistsplitter is also a pretty significant increase in damage, but you also only have a 37,5% chance of actually getting one. Unless you have enough wishes to guarantee it, but then it just becomes way too expensive and you might end up with mostly weapons you don't want anyway. In a perfect world, you would do your 20 pulls or so on the weapon banner, get Mistsplitter and call it a day. That would be the best damage increase for sure. The question that no one can answer for you is are you prepared for your pulls to possibly be basically wasted on something you don't need nor want. I know that I could never, which is why I don't personally recommend it, but it might be different for you.

Ayaka is one of few character who doesn't rely heavily on Bennett/xiangling, and for me, that is the biggest selling point for a new future character.

That's fair, most of those constellations that don't increase DPS that much but add a small nuke are really good quality of life for overworld

barbara surprisingly gives me enough utility with ttds and hydro aura that i dont have to think about casting (like using monas E, also i only learned today that the ttds buff effectively has a 10s CD, so my burst will ALWAYS be buffed at each cast)
i love using ayaka/chongyun/kazu/barb when im not using childe international+kazu in the 2nd team. chongyun is an underrated ayaka support. ayakas atks are faster, and my skill has 8.5s CD while my burst has around 17s CD. a small buff but a welcome one

I had already made my mind on Ayaka but it's always a good thing to have Zajef reasuring me, these past two abyss without any "meta" freeze team made me reconsider Ayato, Childe is good enough as a Hydro dps for me so I hope I win a 50/50 for once and get done with one of the two things my acc is missing.

I dont think mona has as much problem with hydro uptime as a lot of people say, her q +e is always enough for freezing enemy during ayaka burst and thats really just the only time you really need to freeze enemies with ayaka since you will be batterying her after the burst anyways.
Keeping enemies frozen prevents them from scattering, which means they'll still be grouped for your next burst. It's not really necessary if you clear in one rotation, but it's really nice to have if you don't

About the standard Ayaka team, Diona, Ayaka, Mona, Anemo
Yep freeze uptime is definitely a problem and even more if you have Mistsplitter because to gain stacks you need to do some stuff before bursting.
I used to play this team but now that I have got Kokomi, I have benched mona for good.
I play Rosaria, Sucrose, Kokomi and Ayaka. Feels such a massive upgrade in terms of ease and damage because Rosaria damage compensates for lack of Mona omen buff, while Kokomi TTDS and TOM is also a reliable 68% atk buff.
Also both Rosaria and Kokomi is much more fun to play than Diona Mona team because they take considerably less field time and permafreeze go brr.
Can relate. The rotation feels so much smoother because of that, really like the rosaria+kokomi combo, but its funny the numbers ayaka can reach with mona. Her burst from 20k per hit goes to 28k

Each 5 star artifact has either 8 or 9 substat rolls depending on how it started, so through the 5 pieces you'll have between 40 and 45 total substats. Some of those substat rolls won't help increase your damage, this depends on the character but for Ayaka think DEF%, DEF, HP%, HP and EM.
So the 25 substats would be distributed between CR, CD, ATK%, ATK and ER.
40 substats is almost unrealistic as you are at the mercy of RNG; 40 perfect offensive substats would be 40 substats distributed into the configuration that produces the highest outcome, I believe this is usually calculated through solvers since each increase in a substat changes the percentage increase of all the other substats making it hard to calculate manually.
This is just a more accurate way of describing artifact quality than the common alternative; CV.
25 substats is a decent amount of investment that Zajef therefore considers a decently built character.
1 substat = 1 roll of substat that you want. That is the common baseline.
What differs are person: which stat counts as a substat to be counted.
Some only count crits, some count atk, some count even EM, depending on what is an "effective stat"
So for some ppl, they would count every roll of hp% and EM as a substat roll for Hutao, but some won't, depending on who you talk to.
Problem: not all substats are valued the same. The conversion from er% or atk% to crit équivalent is also not objectively clear, which is why which stats count as 1 substat is subjective. But 1 roll on a "desired" substat = "1 substat" stays the same
@@athelo19 25 substats is an extremely well-built character. From KQM GOUBA Project it was possible to notice that the average characters investment of the people who answered the questionnaire is 20 substats. Even with a few whales responses the average was still close to this.

My jade cutter build is actually better than my mistsplitter build. After running genshin optimizer, my best artifact set for her is noblesse + 2pc blizzard strayer. sure missing 40% cr is a thing but the additional +20% burst from noblesse actually allows me to out do it. 25000dpT on ult with pjc. 24500 with mist + 4 set blizzard. Make sure you guys run genshin optimizer before farming and pulling
That sounds a bit questionable, are you sure you properly checked the "frozen" on the blizzard strayer artifact?
@@Zajef77 yup. And enabled all teambuffs and artifact set conditionals before looking. Teambuffs being Mona + kazuha + diona. 40% CR as a conditional is nice, but the value of cr diminishes quite rapidly in cryo comps. If you're running rosaria, that's +30CR from nothing. Question is, how does 40% cr compare to +20% burst damage. Especially given that I can hit 100% cr on both builds. CD with my pjc is 230 and 270 with mist which is only 17% more damage through CD increase ON A CONDITIONAL. Since ayakas kit is so burst reliant AND almost everyone has cracked noblesse pieces this is honestly pretty good. I've spent over 2000 resin on Blizzard strayer and it's still straight up worse which makes me kinda salty ngl
luckyly i got 3 ayaka copies back to back in like 80 pulls. She is my first exclusive 5 star, and my favourite. I got her weapon in last banner, and now only thing left is to get shenhe and she will be top tier

You’ve mentioned that getting a Cryo DPS can have value over a Pyro DPS due to being able to use Freeze, but as someone already with Ganyu Freeze, is there any reason to get Ayaka for 2 Freeze teams (are there any situations where 2 Freeze teams would be ideal)?
If getting Ayaka for Ganyu + Ayaka teams was worth, who’d be the one mainly on field? C1 Ganyu or C0 Ayaka (both with 4* weapons)?
If not worth having both Ayaka and Ganyu, could you also expand upon the Rosaria vs Kaeya debate? You’ve already mentioned how Kaeya is better at generating more Energy, while Rosaria is better at providing more Crit Rate, but are there any other important factors to discuss within their comparisons? Like for example access to Constellations that might impact their effectiveness?
(Btw are Kaeya constellations worth buying in the shop, assuming extra glitter goes into more pulls instead, or is C6 Rosaria more than sufficient?)
@Mike I had the same debate for some time now and here's my point of view:
The situation where u would consider bringing a Freeze team is that, enemies can be crowd-controlled or have a time window where they would sit and take dmg in an Area of Effect (ideally, they can be frozen) and the enemies are not Cryo-immuned since it will take a lot longer to kill them compared to a National team.
This Abyss rotation allows players to run 2 Freeze teams on both sides, which would be ideal to have Ganyu + Rosaria on 1 side and Ayaka + Kaeya on the other. However, despite the comfort of having Ganyu AND Ayaka's teams built up, I find it not as necessary since we can use another team instead of one Freeze team, e.g Taser or National team. In my own opinion, "having Ganyu AND Ayaka's teams built up for each side" would ONLY be needed in situations where we have to deal with many Hydro shields on BOTH sides, like many Hydro Abyss mages and Heralds. But in this situation, we can get away with reverse melt quickswap on 1 side and a Freeze team on the other; so only Ganyu, Kaeya, Rosaria and perhaps Diona or Chongyun are enough.
Regarding Rosaria and Kaeya: both of them works with each other or with Ganyu or Ayaka very well, their utilities have been mentioned in the video and on your comment. I would like to add that, for Ganyu Freeze team, I would recommend using Rosaria with a Favonius Lance (the higher the refinement, the better) because she offers the mobility for you to re-position yourself easier than other Cryo supports; and Mona on TTDS or prototype Amber (although she's not guaranteed for any player), I find prototype Amber useful on her just because "getting her burst back is crucial", plus healing the whole team every 15s is quite comfortable, but not everyone needs it over TTDS. I do have a footage of me using "CN Morgana" on my channel so u can watch that to see how Rosaria fixs the original Morgana team's mobility issue.
Kaeya's constellations are nice but harder to get (requires u to spend starglitter or get lucky in standard banner), while Rosaria's constellations are easier to get but never guaranteed (she's on every banner, whether rated up or not). My recommendation is, use them at any constellation u have, DO NOT feel force to get their constellations unless u like them a lot AND it's a game changing one from what u currently have (from C5 Kaeya to C6 Kaeya).
You actually can melt with C2 every MAIN burst tick with ayaka right? So C2 could be seen as a enabler for her to use on diferent teams (or more like making her a "more viable" option for melts)

Which team will deal more damage? Ayaka and kazuha with mona and diona or with rosaria and kokomi? Just curious cuz there was a vid that i saw that ayaka's q (Mistsplitter and BS) with mona(ttds &NO) can deal 25k/hit. On the other hand, with kokomi (ttds, TotM), she deals 20k/hit. If kazuha is added here does it reach a point where the omen buff with ayaka's q deal equal or even less damage than a team with kokomi (ttds totm) and rosaria (NO /2NO 2BS). And how about in f2p terms with ayaka amenoma and kazuha iron sting/fav sword. How about if diona uses (totm) etc.
It can be very difficult for Mona to get her burst back every rotation when running her on TTDS rather than favonius. Even then, Rosaria's damage isn't negligible and you'll generally perform better with Kokomi/Rosaria, but as I talk about in the video, Mona buffing your burst can help you 1-rotation enemies in some situations, so it depends!

It depends on your sub stats roll. If your 4 Blizzard has a lot of crit rate roll, then perhaps 2 Blizzard + 2 other things could be the optimal option. But for the sake of simplicity, just use Genshin Optimizer.
Everything depends on your substat, again substat > set bonus, but I notice most of my friend that isn't running 4pc blizzard ayaka build her 2pc blizzard+nobless.

Most people probably have better gladiador/noblesse stats than four blizzard, so you don't overcap in crit rate and get a nice 2 piece bonus.
Even when you overcap, blizzard strayer is so crazy that it's generally still gonna be better

Use the optimizer to find out what is best for you. However you will generally not actively farm NO and at most passively get some pieces via Mystic Offering so it is harder to put together a good set that uses it.

I just got ayaka and my best freeze team currently is kokomi, rosaria and sucrose. If i put sucrose on ttds and kokomi on prototype amber, what's the rotation to swirl cryo and make sure ayaka gets ttds?

C0 + R1 Mistsplitter before considering C2+, bc Mist is a less conditional boost for her entire kit and maximizes Shenhe’s quills if you have her or wish to in the future.
If you have SPARE primo, Mistsplitter is a really good pull over even her C2 imo since it's a good general weapon which almost every sword user can appreciate

It really depends. Venti's burst infusion can be really important to get right, since it restores energy, whereas Kazuha's burst infusion doesn't really matter, since he buffs teammates based on swirl rather than infusion, and you'll likely swirl both elements anyways. Generally, I like infusing Hydro more, but it'll depend on your teams!

From what I see of her constellations, all of them kinda suck except for c3 and c4, but c2 is the only one I'm doubtful of, I don't know how reliable the extra ults are in practice
My idea with yelan would be to snapshot her buff in ayakas ult, I don't have xingqiu cons so I think it wouldn't make a difference in hydro application(I don't know the details for yelan, from what I heard is the same as xingqiu without cons)
Ayaka currently has a blackcliff sword, but mistsplitter is mistsplitter. New weapon banner sucks and I don't want another claymore, got like, 2 of them and my claymore users already have their respective weapons(sardine for beidou, broken pines for eula)
The only thing I'm guaranteed rn is a weapon within next 20 pulls, haven't pulled for characters since getting Raiden, will have to 50/50 whatever comes next
I'd say it mostly depends on your current characters. Are you using Xingqiu with your Ayaka? If so, would your second team benefit from having him if you replaced him with Yelan? If your other team doesn't need him, I don't think Yelan will be enough of an upgrade to be worth getting. Though if you just really like her too, she definitely seems to be a pretty valuable pull in case you end up needing another hydro in the future.
I think once you answer those questions for yourself, you can move on to either Ayaka constellations or Mistsplitter, if you choose to skip Yelan. That's a question which will get you a different answer depending on who you ask, but personally I could never recommend wishing on a weapon banner that has one weapon you simply do not want. I don't personally have Ayaka's C2, but from what I know, its damage increase mostly depends on the enemies' hitbox/position and can vary quite a bit because of it, but it is pretty significant when it does hit properly. On the other hand, Mistsplitter is also a pretty significant increase in damage, but you also only have a 37,5% chance of actually getting one. Unless you have enough wishes to guarantee it, but then it just becomes way too expensive and you might end up with mostly weapons you don't want anyway.
In a perfect world, you would do your 20 pulls or so on the weapon banner, get Mistsplitter and call it a day. That would be the best damage increase for sure. The question that no one can answer for you is are you prepared for your pulls to possibly be basically wasted on something you don't need nor want. I know that I could never, which is why I don't personally recommend it, but it might be different for you.
