I did not know you can evade cancel Wyrm stake that is such good QoL need for mainline MH

Fun timing fact. For most monsters, if you break face with a full burst, the flinch time and the time it takes for a sweep and wyrmstake plant are the same. So if you break head on a full burst, you can plant the stake directly into their freshly broken face by just completing the combo.

I find the slide and guard/evade canceling the wrymsrake Cannon very useful in this game. I still await the day we get to learn how it'll compare in Wilds.

Yes, hold tap and swipe down after almost any attack

idk if its just me, but when i try to pokeshell on the third poke, it is a delayed shell compared to the first and second. In the grand scheme of things, it's not a big deal but something i noticed and now avoid going for more than 2 pokes before shelling.

Shell the frontless or back legs.
He does three attacks in a row and stops of a while, dont attack more than once between those
