Honestly, getting my first solo kill on Kushala was such a prideful rush of excitement. (Was only a 6* but even then, he's no joke. Especially for a P.rath Sns main hahaha).

Also for sns users use super atk right when kushala is going to do its surrounding whirl attack to prevent getting hit and be able to hit kushala with the grapple at the end but make sure you don't rush the super when you use it or you will get either get one shotted or get most of your health took

The aoe is rough because right before the twister, it pulls you closer to Kushala making it much more difficult to get out of the radius.

I joined the friend channel and have like 20 something friends over the course of a week from it. Well worth it. Its only been the 1st FQ but the 3 other Hunters I was working on it with managed to hit the max number of completions for max HR/Pass exp
The weak parts I hit with my pluki sns is front arms and as many shield bashes to the head as I can get *note* that one of the kushala AOE attack that prevents you from moving can be perfect evaded, kushala has two attacks similar to each other

I did a couple of the 8 star Kushala battles & they're a huge challenge, so I'll be sticking to the 6 star battles since they're easier, but I do like how even if you only get one bar down, it's still count as a complete as well as still able to receive rewards.
OMG my palico marked a Pink Rathian and I finally beat one. Maybe because my gunlance is a higher level than my other weapons. When I tried to beat one with a lower level weapon I got my butt handed to me.
Some still say those hunters are lost in those woods till this day

Good rule of thumb is to clear Phase 1 with at least 35-40s left on the timer
That's a guaranteed clear for Phase 2 and a way to DPS check your party🎉
I feel like I have gotten more WGS drops after this update than I have ever gotten before, wonder if that is just me or if they increased the drop rates.
If know can't beat it, just left the hunt and no need to wait for 3hours, rejoined again
You should organize like a Meet&Greet day to share tips, go on hunts, eat some food and have a good time in the NC area.
Are you in the NC area? We have a chat in my discord and we only have like 6-7 people and I play with them so I didn't think it was worth it to try and make a meet and greet haha.

If someone uses poison it gets rid of the wind shield
just some advice, 8 stars kushala need at least 1 poison build player
