A marvelous rendition of my all time favorite aria. Being husband and wife added a very special dimension to Roberto's performance: it's palpable for all to see and hear. I thought the expression of the High C didn't quite match the very highest levels of the rest of his performance.

Que Alagna es uno de los 3 mejores tenores del momento no cabe duda. Su Rodolfo está a la altura de Pavarotti o Gedda. Ahora Angela Gheorghiu no tiene internet en su casa como para ver videos de Mirella Freni haciendo Mimí quien canta con sus silencios? Está histerica mientras Rodolfo canta el aria, y eso que no abrió la boca!

Georghiou como siempre sobreactuada. Ese detalle va en detrimento de su grán voz. Alagna como siempre muy intenso, muy bien en su papel de Rodolfo.

Uno de los duetos románticos más hermosos de la ópera La Bohemia de Puccini es éste: "Qué helada manecita", en la que Rodolfo le cuenta a Mimí quién es, qué hace, cómo vive escribiendo poesías llenas de quimeras, sueños y fantasías sublimes. Mimí lo escucha extasiada, y casi no puede creer a su dulce declaración de amor, evocando sus fantasías en el rostro de él, su nuevo amor, el que ahora es dueño de su corazón y todos sus sueños más dulces y queridos.
I love Roberto.. and Angela was lucky. I've always wanted to marry a tenor. :-)
